In Hardman's stage at the split, isn't it faster to take the low path, thanks to the extended slide and lack of a Met bulldozer enemy to deal with?
I tested both routes. Yes you have an extended slide but you also have a LONG ladder to climb, there is a Metool that will inevitably hit you on the bottom route, and there are also 3 small energy pellets you can't avoid. The top route is faster.

Also, I think you could probably have dealt with the big cats in Topman's stage faster; you delayed shooting to jump, but doesn't the magnet missile go up quickly enough anyway? That would save on waiting for Megaman to land before you can jump again to continue through the level.
I noticed that while making the AVI.

Otherwise looked fairly good. They butched Topman's music though. :(
Original 8 bit Mega man music will always be better. I do like some of the Genesis tunes though.

first thing I do in W3 will be that. I remember that in Pokemon R/B it saves time to be in low health but everyone hated the constant low HP alarm.

Great ! I think this game has a high TASing potential. Could you share the vbm please ? BTW, did you actually reach 200 % ? Well, I have to admit I never managed to reach such a percentage.
I would but the VBM is on another comp right now. also I haven't got 200% on my cartridge yet because you have to get gold medals on time attack with DK and Diddy. Maybe I or someone will get around to a 200% run. I would definitely do it. I'm also redoing the WIP once I get the chance.

W00t!!! The game finally works. I threw together a little WIP of World 1 the second I figured this out. World 1 You have to use GBA BIOS as opposed to the Emulator's bios. Also this code to make Treacherous Twister work correctly: 030004A0:00 (thanks to NES Boy on DKC atlas for the find)

I vote yes. It is similar to the "no B button" SMB run. The routes were done well in the zones. He obviously knew what he was doing.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1827032901/mm1v2.gmv MM1 completed in 20:35 24 secs slower than frenom's run but I thought I'd post it. Comments and criticisms accepted as always :)

Although I'm positive it's faster to beat Cutman before Elecman, I thought this was an entertaining run and liked the new and old tricks I saw. Yes vote from me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ebHPCM_XtE Here's the new route Guts-Cut-Elec-Ice-Fire-Bomb The reason I don't immediately do elec man is that the time wasted going through cutmans stage w/o the magnet beam is less than the time wasted on beating elec man with the megabuster.

I gotta say, this run was very entertaining. I've been TASing this game for 3 years, and you pulled off glitches that I didn't even know existed. Definite Yes vote from me. Keep up the good work :)

Yes I know there is a locked topic on this game, but that's because no one was complying and first post was total BS. So I made a sloppy WIP through Scorpion. Spiderman WIP Thoughts? PS: The game starts from a snapshot because I tried recording from the beginning and the "Expansion Pack Found" Freezes the emulator.

First 4 bosses and Duo in Megaman 8: http://www.viddler.com/explore/kchrules/videos/1/ Kinda sloppy and stop watching at swordman. Other than that, enjoy.

Thing is that you lose so darn much health when you jump through the tank on normal/hard/very hard so I don't know if it's really possible.
My run (5:47 near the top) is on normal and I take less damage than you jumping through it, so it depends where you jump from. Watch it if you haven't already.

Alright, sorry for that. Rehost: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1690831487/Terminator%2C%20The%20%28USA%29.gmv
Doesn't look faster but it was still pretty entertaining. Also I'd wait for more feedback until submission. Maybe next do a TAS of normal/hard/veryhard
