I'm working on an improvement to zggzdydp's published glitched main quest. I didn't realize that I missed some shortcuts until I completed over 60% of the whole run. Now I'm working on my v2... Microstorage still seems down... EDIT: It's likely to be acheive sub-twelve minutes even with my v1!

According to some source, several itemdrops from enemies are changed in the 2-in-1. I'm wondering whether that can help the progress.

I suggest that you add these movies: http://tasvideos.org/movies.cgi?id=587,721,803,903,994,1105,1129,1177,1199,1217,1227,1233 These movies can be arguable: http://tasvideos.org/movies.cgi?id=690,790,1051,1139,1175 EDIT: I suggest that you'd update some obsolete entries to the latest ones, since "faster movies" = "more things skipped", usually. EDIT 2: Added Movie 690. EDIT 3: Added Movie 587 & 721. Updated Movie 1055 to 1217. EDIT 4: Added Movie 803, 1105 and 1199. EDIT 5: Added Movie 1227. EDIT 6: Added Movie 790 & 1051. Hay, dude. Voting Abstained as I haven't watched it. EDIT: OK. I voted 8.8/8.6 for all the awesomeness and perfection.

EDIT: I've reverted my votes to "No opinion" since I could never stand watching the whole run and I don't want to appraise it from the first 9 minutes which I've ever watched.

Thanks a lot. I didn't expect that so many people would enjoy it because I thought this game was obscure and pale compared to Ninja Gaiden 1/2/3 etc. @nineko: Heheh the subtitles in the video look entertaining.

Hmm, the new poll system is great, but something is wr...maybe? EXAMPLE: All the records of the past votes are 0 now, as well as rating.

IIRC, I beat the game without turning on the light. I didn't skip Shade, so it might be that I used him to cross the pit if the platforms weren't be there while the light was out.

For example someone could post a YES reply and and type "." so there vote can be registered. It might also cause a significant increase in fanboy posts like "Best game ever, replace every run on the site and anyone who critizises can STFU".
They have always been able to spam such posts via the "postreply" button, just adding "Voted Yes" if no "YES" button is available.

I don't recall writing "Emeter" and stuff in Chinese on any videos.... EDIT: It could be that people encoded some of my movies (especially AoS bossrush TASes) writing "Emeter" on them. EDIT 2: Or there are others named "Emeter" as well.

Mega Man Xtreme 1/2 are just too similar to Mega Man X1/X2/X3. However, although all Mega Man/Mega Man X/ Mega Man Zero/etc games are basically the same, they have been well accepted.

I've been expecting it since I halted my WIP due to lack of motivation and activation on it. I'm very glad that you complete the whole full run of awesomeness. Great job and thank you!

I really liked 3-2, I didn't realize that the bullet-bill flagpole glitch doesn't need to have an enemy involved to work :) I still am going to call it the bullet bill flagpole glitch though.
It seems that he didn't save a single frame there... It increased the entertainment value, though.

Yes vote as you may have expected. Special congratulations on beating all those route tests! You get the best ending skipping so many required items, which I didn't expect would be possible, though Westwood has no more prize T-shirt for you. :P EDIT:

Looks nice. BTW, I am always curious about the "flying-around egg" which sometimes appears and self-destructs soon after you enter the corridor (where the gate to the final stage is) from the left enterance. Do you know what is it?

Yes vote. It seems that the real improvements were from the Bullet Bill Glitch in 8-2. It saved 42 frames due to about the 6 frames shorter slowing-down after you jumped over the large pit as well as the 14 frames faster Bullet Bill manipulation, as 20 frames faster in total to break the 21-frame-barrier, though 18 frames would be already sufficient as had been discussed.

I just completed Stage 3. I've noticed some pontential frames of improvements, but I decided to hex-edit them when I finish the whole game. My first and perhaps last WIP here

I'm amazed that my savestate-saving/loading operations in SGB (Border enabled) movies can be recorded with v20.0.
