The base of my TAS route was a cost of 1 second or less for 3 gems (so 1 gem per 20 frames). While my route was overall good, I am looking forward your route to see where it can be improved.

It is specific to each game, as some may be more hex-friendly than others. Usually it should word with 2D games, but not with 3D games.

I don't know how you will be able to go for all FMVs, excalibur II and the "Lost Nero Family Quest" chest, but I guess you can do it, so good luck with this run.

Usually I do it with the 9 basic savestates (like 1 savestate at the beginning of the split and 2 more to compare the end of 2 different routes / changes)

A savestate for 2 different movies will only work if all the inputs before this savestate are the same, so I don't see the problem since you "should" not change movies too often

Maybe you are looking for the "Savestate as" and "Loadstate from" features in the File menu ?

The only way I know is to use a lua script
while true do
memory.writeword(0x000CC270, 118);
memory.writeword(0x000CC274, 75);

--And so on

emu.frameadvance();
end;
However I am not sure it's what you are looking for

Basically, a 100% TAS is always far harder/longer to do than an any%, because the route planning is more complex. As a reference, Nitrofski started a Spyro 3 100% TAS 11 months ago, and he still has around 35% of the TAS to do.

Sparx MVP Why are you even trying Hunter ? RIP twin dragons I have no word to describe the Agent 9's challenge... By the way, did you find the checkpoints in the skateboard race with brute force or with RAM address(es) ? And what the hell happened at 11:00 at the end of Agent 9's challenge ?

I think the gamepad should work fine without Joy2key (at least it works fine with psxjin) However Joy2key is necessary if you want to use some map hotkeys with your controller. Then you can use it to assign some keys (like ctrl + Letter) to a button on your controller, and assign the same ctrl + letter to one map hotkey.

Looks like a bad FPS config. In Graphics Configuration, check "Use FPS limit", fix the limit to 60 and then try again

It doesn't work for me, so it definitely must be a compatibility issue (I only tested with psxjin but I assume it must be the same with PCSX-RR)

Did you try other games to see if it's specific to this game or if it's only some bad configuration with pcsx/psxjin ?

One last question then : are you sure you can barrier clip on the other side (from warp room 3 to the main room) ?

Except if I am missing something, you need to jump at least 200 times in order to get crystals, and I don't see how you could possibly do it in Tiny fight. Also, I don't know if to fight Cortex, the game requires you to have 25 crystals or the 5 crystals of the final world, so maybe it can take less time than you think to dupe enough crystals.

I was just checking the final gem route in case I wouldn't be able to do skip swim.

I don't understand your question. I mean, obviously this glitch will save a lot of time since you don't have anymore to purchase Swim.
