I did some testing and noticed that a lot of stairs have small "slopes" on them that when bounced off of, give HUUUUGE boosts. So uhm.. when will v1 be done ?_? gogo world 4!?!?! That only leaves like.. 3 more worlds left.. I think.

I've got dibs on this! Probably shouldn't, since I've got 3 other projects but meh. =( This game is too fun. I'll try my best with the graphical errors though. x.x I didn't have any problem moving Zeratul in real-time past enemies.... My only question is going campaign by campaign (one race at a time reg OR BW), story-mode (sequential order), or do-whatever-I/you-want-mode. :S

Watched it and to be honest, I'm not really sure what to vote on. It's done well and I'm a fan of FPS games (like Doom), but the level of movement makes headaches. x.x Not to mention it's also dark, but it's been mentioned that 190% brightness can fix this problem. And there's not that much kiilllliiiiiiinggg :( Yes vote covered with meh-sprinkles and meh-frosting. =/

Enjoyed the WIP thoroughly. Keep it up! \o/ During the Pirate's area, was the repeated dropping of bombs to create an imaginary platform allowing you to get to that one spot? Or what? I wasn't quite sure how you pulled it off. :E

Not sure if a year old *bump* will really convince him otherwise, but it definitely looked entertaining. You've got us to support you if you do decide to finish it.

As for the PS3... let`s wait for PS2 emulation first, now shall we ^^
You do realize we don't even have a Playstation X/One (whatever you want to call it) rerecording emulator yet? PS2 almost had a rerecording emulator going with that FFIX demo video posted up somewhere, but I recall the author had problems with the sound playing correctly or something. o.o If PS/PS2 works though, I'm sure we're going to get a LOT of SDA people once someone decides to start a FF run. It'll be like the new Zelda!

This runs gets 100%, which you cannot beat. This aims for entertainment, which is subjective. there is no clear definition of how to make a run that improves entertainment, since it's not a quantifiable value. To my knowledge, I don't know of any submission that beats a run purely to make it more entertaining without any gain in time.
Congratulations! You've just made a run that can't be beat! Yaaaay. ^^ I liked watching the video a lot, although I did few a bit sad that stuff you could blow up wasn't. =( But at least the score's 100%.. wish I had that in SF64 instead of that dumb hit system T_T Good job on a run well done! =D Yesssss. Sidenote: Loved the author's notes about the sexual harassment training. <3 Edit: THERE'S COMMENTARY?! WHERE?!

Well, I'm starting to play StarCraft more and more now. If anyone wants to play with me, leave your IGN or add "mrmedic" (don't ask about the name please) I suck terribly though, so go easy. =( Haven't played in years, literally. P.S. Is Vatchern pro? :o

I would perfer BW. Also, with the time difference, it may be hard to set a time up for this.
Nonsense! We'll use AMERICAN time because that's the only time AMERICANS go by!... in America! (meaning PST boys!) Note: Don't take me seriously. ^^ maelstrom + psionic storm + archons = mmm dead zerg n.n

I meant that rail games are generally poor choices for TASing (especially when you can't control speed). Sorry for not making that clear.
So high score isn't hip anymore? Curse you Neptune!! ;-;

As unpromising as this sounds, I'll take up StarFox 64 again.. and Tsumi to Batsu. :/ Gee, I sound like a broken record player. ;-; Anyone wanna take bets on how long it takes for me to burn out? =P I'll probably redo the first level on SnP (no.. not Snakes n Planes..) then fiddle with Meteo, go back to second level of SnP, and stuff. I'll try to go back to where I am on Meteo if I ever manage to redo Corneria.. having some extra bombs and some extra points would make me waaaay happy. ^^; P.S. GAUNTLET LEGENDS 4P NETPLAY WITH DEHACKED GOGOGOGO Edit: wait im stupid :( sry

I have a weird ability to kill a topic with an excessively long post that no one reads through but they think they shouldn't post because I might have said it in my post. I mean, take that post I just did in Pokemon Snap. It's one of the longest posts ever. I think it's longer than the forum rules.
Don't worry, I still replied to it! ^^ Just like this one! Seeee! :) For TASing's sake, I think it would be better off with rentals. Since the community already begins games as "a new game" with no sram, no nothing, we might as well continue the tradition by pretending we don't have a gameboy (or DMG, for those that want to use the term... don't flame plz T_T) and a pokemon game with all the pokemon. =/ I'd be pretty happy to watch it though. I've only played it once or twice but watching it in 3D should prove amusing/fun. =]

Oh snap! It's repetitive? =( Well, I think a run would still be interesting if you ran through it one more time provided the original run-through doesn't take like.. an hour.. or even half an hour =X Things get dull quick with several run-throughs of a game. .__.

It can't be an RSP plugin! OHHHHHHHH :o .. or make me breakfast. That'd be cool :( Word has it that project64 got Blast Corps to work fine on their emulator. Does that mean the next release of mupen64 will have compatibility with it too? I really wanna see some destruction =D

I would assume so. Take a look at megaman's pause button glitch that allows faster boss deaths.

Will you able to encode the video in 190% brightness though? Or will that be a "please do this before watching the video" kind of thing?

A lot of the problem comes from not following the game. That's why the moves turn out to be a flop and they lose lots of money (or gain practically nothing). Take Doom, a fairly "recent" movie-based-on-video-game movie. Original plot: A space marine is attacked by alien/hell forces while he's on a Mars base. How did it turn out? A chromosome 22 infection that changes people into superhuman freaks based on their personality (oh great.) so it means that: 1. There's no hell forces. 2. There was a reference to hell as they say, "It's hell up here" or something of the like but DAMMIT ITS NOT THE SAME T_T 3. It's another zombie movie. =( for the record.. hell forces > zombies + the Rock The FPS cinematics got a mediocre "meh" even though they promised way more than 5 minutes of FPS scenes. I think it was SUPPOSED to be 1/3rd of the movie. It's a new concept introduced in movies, so I guess maybe I should give it more leeway. That's how I feel about it anyway. Hollywood seems to think that by changing things to make it [in their mind] cooler, people will love it. Unfortunately, they don't realize that it's supposed to be based off a game, not something they thought of. So when movies come out based off video games and the people who PLAYED the video games go watch it, they're lost/confused because it doesn't follow the story. Example: Super Mario Bros: The Movie While I don't remember much about this movie, I know I got lost watching because it wasn't really Mario... nor did it really follow the storyline. And I don't remember a machine that makes people (or rather, koopas) smarter. Or for that matter, people used flamethrowers and those devo-guns or whatever they were called. At least there was Yoshi! He was cuuute. <3 As for Halo production, Halo is being picked up after they got funding from [none other than!] Microsoft. Production is unknown but that means the project will continue. They stopped because they didn't have enough "money", which I think is a cover because, well... who WOULDN'T want to make a move off this huge money-making game that so many people play? I'm still worried about Soul Calibur since I'm a huge fan of the game (Talim! Yaaayy ring-out punches ^^) and I think it would be an interesting concept since they'd take a new approach after realizing their mistakes from the Street Fighter series and MK2. MK1 was alright for me since it followed the story and I understood a lot of the stuff that was going on. ...well, except maybe why those henchmen don't mind being killed by Subzero.. that dude was weird. And kind of buff too. o_O Anyway, I'm going to be terribly upset if they mess up the character stories, or rather the characters themselves. I want a REAL asian girl playing an asian fighter this time dammit, not some half-breed European pretending to be Ayane/Kasumi. D= I'm hopeful on God of War since it was a good game. Alice seems like it could be good too, but Sarah Michelle Gellar as a twisted Alice that's armed with a butcher knife?? Oh well, 300 comes out in two weeks! Yay! ^^ P.S. Doesn't Splinter Cell and Max Payne allow you to cycle through camera modes (thus allowing First Person?) or no?
