Now on youtube for easier viewing: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qzZMNCfvVT4 I think we used the exact same route, I read that FAQ for my planning as well. It looks like the run is 3 minutes long according to the game timer.

I made a quick movie of this game just for fun, no submission intended since this game is not great TAS material. I used the USA 1.10 Bios. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/298666340/SWITCH.gmv

That was crazy. I've played Recca but never knew about Zanki mode.

Maybe this will help this thread: If you use Firefox, get Greasemonkey. Install this script. After installing the script, refresh the page and press the "baleet" button to hide a user's posts.

I happen to have some ram addresses for this game: FFA676 - 2 bytes - X Position FFA678 - 2 bytes - Y Position

I couldn't find any software to edit the .rc file, so I probably won't be working anymore on this...
That would be a shame. I did a quick search and found a couple of ways to edit the dialog boxes and .rc files. Maybe what I found isn't what you need. Also, Megaman 8 looked great.

The first event and Tour de Grass were the most entertaining to me. Not to be discouraging, but this seems likely to be rejected due to "poor game choice." Also, you might want to use Microstorage for your movie files.

I tried to watch this and got a desync. I used the FBA version in this thread, but couldn't find the rollback roms Dammit mentioned.

ドレミファミレド (Do Re Mi Fa Mi Re Do) are probably solfege syllables. Is there a musical puzzle somewhere in the game?

My Japanese isn't great, but the game doesn't seem to be giving you much information. 1. There is a beautiful gem. 2. The gem was destroyed, unblocking the door. 3. There is a strange marking on this wall.

Nice run, I think this game deserves a submission (Expert or whatever).

For those who are having problems, try setting the controller to 6 buttons. The movie didn't finish correctly for me with 3 buttons.

That was awesome. I'd like to see the other good endings get this treatment someday.

I was intending to work on Ranger-X, but I don't have the time anymore. Here's the watch file I was working on, sorry about the host.

Overall I thought it was good. The biggest problem is all the waiting in the last levels.

Nice job so far. This is a really frustrating game so it's definitely easier to appreciate this tas with unassisted play experience.

I used to play this game a lot and I've finished it before, so I think there could be some cool possibilities. If nothing else, it has a good soundtrack and graphics.
