Some guys I knew used to waste their time in this mmorpg crap. And the only kind of 3-faced die was this one: Kind of the same as the other one you posted, but shaped like a sphere.

All you remember is the life bar? You should remember if it was a platformer, or space shooter or RPG.

I have never personally met anyone interested in TASing. Maybe if I lived in Finland it'd be more likely. All my gamer friends (new console or retro gamers), think it is the biggest waste of time ever, a certificate of "Loser" and that sort of thing.
hahah yeah... that could happen when they only find out it's tool assisted AFTER watching the run. They're like "OMG!!11! that's gotta be the greatest player ever" and then you go "LOL it's done with slowdown and savesates" and then they "... then I don't really see anything interesting... thanks for wasting my time." Could happen also in other setup: Imagine you see someone spending hours working on the computer, and then after some research you discover that the guy is making a "TAS" of "Mickey Mouse's Castle of Illusion". I wouldn't blame you when you FACEPALM.

Oh yeah, the weirdest code I know is for SNES Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior: - enter options over a certain number of times (I go for 30), and the next time you start a fight the enemy will have infinite health, there will be no sound or HUD, and after you lose the game hangs. What the hell is this? Can anyone find out if it's an overlook in the programing, or if it was intentionally put there?
Infinite Health? All I remember is that the battle goes without the HUD. Also it was an exact number of times... one more or one less and it wouldn't work IIRC. I just would like to know HOW this trick was discovered... (it's REALLY OLD)

Yeah, if you like people moving like robots you can't miss that one.
You can also experiment Tobal 2. It's a fighting game with hundreds of playable characters, but the main point of the game for me is the rpg mode. Unfortunatelly, it's in japanese only so I never got too far.

Final Fantasy Tactics is the best PSX game evar, but you can play an improved version on the PSP.
I like the GBA version better, it's focused on entertaining. The PSX game has an acceptable storyline. But it is EXTREMELY slow, everyone looks the same and has a lot of useless features, such as "terrains".
International Track and Field 2000 for multiplayer fun.
Hahah I've completely forgot about that. Yeah it was awesome back in the day.

Some old things I can remember: Resident Evil was cool at the time. Get the Diretor's Cut, since it contains the original mode. Felony 11-79 (Runabout) was a great racing/adventure game. Crash Team Racing is better than Mario Kart Skullmonkeys is a funny platformer. Norse By Norsewest has interesting puzzles. And as Snake said, Wild Arms is pretty awesome. Bad 3D graphics in battles, but the whole game is all nice classic 2D.

If my sarcasm detector is broken, ignore this post. Basically, one of the levels had a glitch that would prevent the 2nd players character from moving or something until all the continues are used up... I am not the man to answer this question.

This one time I was playing Super Mario World, I passed under the exit gate at end of cheese bridge and I'll never forget what happened next... I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say is that this cab was rare but I thought 'Nah forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air'

yes i know they take ages to dies but a hardest difficulty is what would give the run it's whole entertainement, (i still rememeber how much time it took just to beat the first boss in MS3) maybe insane luck manipulating drops and heavy weapon management there would do the trick ? as for the 2P, of course it would be even more insane ( at least if the TASer let the enemys appear on the screen) but it give bosses even more life so it still does not takle the boss problem, (what happens when a 2p join a fight in the middle of the boss fight, does the boss life extend ?)
MS3 has that overpowered zombie vomit. It could kill the boss in seconds in a TAS.
