Found this chinese game a while ago. Don't know the real name (the site I got it from said it was "Qin War reincarnation of the Millennium"). It's a commercial game for java-enabled cell phones, but it's a shameless ripoff of the Castleroid games, from SotN to OoE. Anyway, it's awesome and does anyone know more about it? klmz? zggzdydp? EDIT: Ah, I forgot to say that the intro theme is SotN's Lost Painting... EDIT2: links here: Moderator edit: Sorry, pirate, that's not allowed. Links removed. Aliundra is awesome, and I can't believe that there are no big shortcuts... since the character movement is pretty much free. Has anyone tried the game with frame advance?

It's just that this game is really frustrating. The Final Fantasy Tactics map sucks, the useless Belmont descendants in the town suck, 99.9999% of her weapons are useless AND consume MP, you have abilities that use hearts but you can get them only in very few places or using stupidly expensive and riculously difficult to drop items. The good things are only Shanoa's animation and some bosses...

Long story short, the only way it will be entertaining is through cheats.

Why is the RAM Search/Watch in the VIEW section? And... uh... maybe I'm stupid, but it seems to me that the PAUSE function should be assigned to the PAUSE/BREAK key instead of the SPACEBAR. Anyway. it can be assigned but won't work.

What a worthless comment. Watch it and give your feedback, good or bad. Just blindly voting yes serves absolutely no purpose.
Obviously... I hate this game so I'm voting NO.

I started it, it will cover everything from the very basics to hex editing but it will take a while because I'm doing SotN as well.

I can already tell how the boss fights after the huge crab will be: Attack a bunch of times, wait 1 minute for the MP to regenate, repeat.

I liked the game, but that ending is lame and frustrating.

Sorry if my previous post sounds a bit harsh but I was quite impressed overall how my favourite system can be TASed.
I wonder when MY favourite systems will have it's chance... The classic Polystation: The Funstation 3 The PX-3600 Or the revolutionary Chintendo Vii but Neo Double Games will do for now:

Little update: Collision thing for the revenge tech: Different address for each instance. Normally 0, is set to 144 (0x90) 2 frames before the collision is shown. The stopwatch freezes this value during its effect, so it's really easy to do the glitch with it (as long as it affects the enemy). Anyway, more research is needed.

does this work for any other game? never heard of it before... but you'd need to move fast for that, probably you'd need Black Panther. After you hit the enemy there's a "cooldown" timer for that weapon. I dunno how many different timers can exist at the same time, but I'll try: 1 - Main weapon 2 - Bullet Soul 3 - Guardian Soul 4 - Kick (after double jump) or Slide - Dunno, maybe they use different memory addresses...

Just appeared today in youtube, in the "recommended for you". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H5g9VS0ENM Small, free, and cross-platform. It looks like it's the best in the style. If youtube says it's good for me, who am I to discuss?
