Yeah, and for some mysterious reason I always believed it was "cathegory", with an H in the middle... whhere the heck did I get that...?

Dunno, wanted to make the thread more active... I think I reached the last level, but the game isn't as good as the GBA one. And I also cheated...heheh.. after you lose 3 times in a row, you can press the little "cup"(there will be an exclamation ,ark there) then you press the left button and TADA... you've passed it. Offtopic, but I've been playing this double dragon and you can't make all the enemies vanish with a single player... some enemies seem to target player 2 by default.

bin and iso are almost always the same thing... if you rename your .bin to .iso, it will most likely work... (I guess this is only true for RAW dumps)

Yeah, it's pretty good, but where's the tool assistance in Sin City? To me, The Butterfly Effect is much closer to a TAS, because no matter how hard you try (even Hex-Editing it) things go wrong all the time and at the end you usually don't get exactly what you wasted all those hours planning.

Yeah, 4 GBAs in a single window, similar to no$gba. That would be nice and clean.

Maybe that was because Muhammad said a cock crows because it has seen an angel and donkeys bray because they have seen Satan.

Sword Familiar to Level 50 - no big problem. Takes not so long with Duplicator (buy with Jewel Money Glitch) and Power of Siren. Or was the Duplicator only avaible after complete the game, not sure about it anymore?
Yeah, both Duplicator and ring of Varda are special items that require a 'Clear" saved game. Leveling up the familiar using that trick is not really fast. Even in a re-recording emulator I guess it will take around 5 minutes. Also, there are the Gold and Silver Rings, and the Holy Glasses...

Hah, I wish the game was half this creative... But unfortunately it's just one the most insipid SNES games. You run is pretty good though. Yes for you.

I'd be glad to take it myself, if FODA hasn't started already. I never worked with Gens and neither with 2 players. Sounds like a little challenge. And I also loved this game when I was little.

It's not a question of how easy or hard it is to enable javascripts (it's very easy with NoScript). It's a question of why such a site would demand javascripts enabled, given that the only thing you want to do is to download a single file. That's always suspicious.
I assume you know a way to implememet a similar countdown timer using plain HTML. Anyway, RAPIDSHARE is crap & MEGAUPLOAD is twice the crap. They're good for hosting warez and that's all. BitTorrent is another trash torrent program that people are trying to exploit (a friend of mine had a nasty problem with some BT.someting file, that came along with some mmorpg -- that could be just a name coincidence, yeah, but I still hate the program's interface itself)). I hate torrents and when I really need to use them, I use µTorrent . Unless someone has some spare online storage space to host all these videos and extreme bandwith to share them...(like archive.org) it's best to keep things the way they are. This discussion is pointless, and I dunno where are the moderators who didn't lock this thing yet.

Anyway, you know how the PSX Analog stick sucks. It may be durable, but it just doesn't feel analog at all. In 99% of the cases it's all about 2 speeds - walking and running.

waht the heck is that movie file? You killed 4 enemies? heheh, I'd like to see the glitch with 2 players, but yeah, it might make a good movie. That bg song is also so cool.... But will you finish it? Are you testing only or what?

If you don't know this, in short it automatically forces some specific emulation settings when you load a particular game, allowing you to run an apparently incompatible game without patching it. This file includes the VBA 1.7-incompatible Classic NES games, but anyway... just copypaste iinto a new text file and save it as VBA-OVER.INI then put it in the same directory where VisualBoy Advance is. I had forgotten this completely... it's been more than a year since the file was updated.

"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself. It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success." - Onkar Ghate

I use an SNES controller, and I set X to FastForward. I can't think of a single function to assign to the Y button.
