Well, that's really a complicated matter, but Red Minotaur + Great Armor would save some time damaging the four little eyes of Chaos. There's a Killer Mantle in the middle of the way, and the Red Minotaur isn't the hardest soul to get plus it gives some good exp.

Hmm... Zurreco, that seems to be the same thing I did using the bat, indeed. I tried again researching that knockback stuff... messed with various memory addresses, like invulnerability timers of Richter and the enemies, but still no positive results. By the way, I impoved the Knight boss fight, and stage 4 is going fine.

OK. Stages 2 and 3 are done. The last parts of stage 3 were impossible to optimize (due to their simplicity): one is an empty room and the other is the boss. Right now, I'm around 450 frames faster then the published run. NOTES: After I killed the Knight boss, I'm hit by his final attack, receiving 1 HP damage thus reducing the time in the score screen by 1 frame. I didn't do that after I killed the Bat boss because when I'm hit by the bats, the red orb takes more time to appear. Don't ask me why... Zurreco mentioned some "Merman Skip" thing, well I don't know what is that or where it can be performed. All I could do was a "Bat Skip"...

hmm... in Snes9x and VBA (and ZSNES) you can also use the "toggle fast forward" options, if holding down a button bothers you.

Yeah... really a good run. Better then any of your previous runs. Till now I have no complaints, but... before you advance I'd like to remind you of the correct positioning of the camera (ESPECIALLY AT BOWSER LEVELS, whatever name these stages have). Spezzafer and FODA were very careful with it, and their runs got very high "ratings". As a rule of thumb, always keep the camera as fas as possible. If it's too close, we can't follow the all the action. Locking it sometimes won't hurt, either.

KOF has all those famous characters and stuff but gets old fast. 99% of the combos are Strong Attack -> some direction+Weak Attack -> Super Move

Like said before, it's not a simple project... I have searched for a few new shortcuts using the other soul-required glitches (sinking and windblow, for example), but nothing too serious. Hmmm... just today I decided to check this thread... and wow, L. Spiro himself! MHS is really great. I first heard about it when I saw some guy hacking CV-SOTN on epsxe, adding new moves and changing character sprites. But it doesn't work on VBA... that's a terrible surprise...

Unfotunately, Breakers is totally underknown... how sad... The game is just as good as Street Fighter Zero, if not better. There's no "zero counter", but super moves can be used as "combo breakers". I've watched those two movies on youtube before. They're really great., especially part 2 (I'm talking about Dao-Long's) Ninja Master's is another promising game. Neo-Geo is really the king of fighting games... EDIT: HEY! I didn't forget that top-secret re-recording arcade emulator you mentioned before...
