The screen capture is set to F12 by default. I don't know how could you fail to find it in the controller configuration screen...
And, I don't know why would you need a hotkey to change the frameskip... just use the + and - keys (not in the numerical section)

About the run... I think you were a little too hasty... you could have improved it a lot. And the hard difficulty wasn't really necessary, imo. The cpu is not actually "smart"... like in every mk game, the cpu player is a shameless cheater. Sometimes the computer player counterattacks right when we enter the command, before our character even starts the animation!
Anyway, I'm expecting a new submission. And I'll try to collaborate in that list of ideas too.
