Well man, I'm into the classics, like that megaman one. I never liked SMB3, but no one can hate this cover art... Of course, DUCK STORIES conquered its space in my heart easily.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy is awesome. A lot of very impressive combos there. I had to favourite that Endurance mode video. Mortal Kombat Revelations is a terrible joke. WTF, Hydro... EEDRO It reminds me of Tattoo Assassins... Link to video Of course, that game is much better than the latest MK games.

If this were true, then the Nintendo DS and PSP would have killed the PS3/Wii. Some people want to play on portable devices, and others want to play on TVs. Sorry, but there is no way the phone is going to take over a console. I would agree that phones could eat into the 3DS/Vita market.
DS and PSP are handheld consoles, not smartphones. They have a very limited OS and only run 'honestly' applications approved by the developer. If things stay as they are, these new consoles are gonna be crushed by the cheap little Ouya. If people want super realistic graphics, they play games on their awesome PCs. As that article moozooh linked says, they try to extend their device's lives with UFC or Youtube or NetFlix... but TVs are coming packaged with internet-ready hardware. They have nowhere interesting to advance to. Either they fail or they're gonna become the Macintoshes of the videogames.

When it comes to flash memory it's all a gamble. Can work well for years, can fail of a sudden after a few weeks. Source: I've had tons of flash drives. Of all brands. The champion here is a 5 years old Kingston 2GB. It's still working but it fails when I try to use the whole space.

Sorry, but you are living in a fantasy world. Console gamers who play football and war games aren't going to abandon them to fling cute birds around a screen. And, like it or not, those are the ones that account for the majority of gamers.
The major sports franchises already have their successful mobile versions and also mobile phones aren't that far behind. The next-gen consoles are gonna be an inevitable failure, I must admit.

I'm glad this topic is called Favourite SNES RPG instead of BEST SNES RPG. Some people will never admit their favourite game is a piece of crap. I haven't played many RPGS on the SNES but I think it's very easy to say that my favourite is Chrono Trigger. It's also pretty safe to say that it is the best RPG on the console. offensive material hidden below I know many people may like FF6 or Earthbound or even SMRPG (argh) better but that's just THEIR impressions of the games... back then they probably didn't know better and that game really stood out. It's perfectly OK if you say these are your favourites. But compared to CT, they suck.

I don't think compilations will happen because Mother 2 and 3 are terribly dated games. They might look cool and have some funny plot but their gameplay is boring as hell. That battle system is a joke.

Even though this Genesis versions looks and sounds terrible, I liked this run better than the SNES one. Some boring infinite combos but awesome combination of Shang Tsung's transformations and projectiles. Yes vote.

Well, it seems all that was known was that some man had jumped off the bridge by the same time he disappeared. For all the police cared about, at that point he was still missing.

So I went to dig some old threads from the time I was away form the forum and I find this one. I decide to look further into it...
Zidanax was a bit of a loner in the real world. I say 'was' because last weekend he chose to end his life
Well, this was posted at 2012-03-05 (year-month-day). However... he was missing since February 25 and his body was only found on April 1.

Here is a 16x16 pixel Kirby I made a few years ago for a Super Mario World hack I was working on (which involved Kirby). The checkerboard background helped me plot each pixel in my graphics editor. Looking back on the hack, it was too easy and the level design was really juvenile so I probably won't finish it. I made it by studying this Kirby hi sprite from Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble: Here's how it looked in-game:
I could not resist. Also, bored.

The level design in this game is absolutely horrid. The levels themselves are not cohesive or aesthetically pleasing. Enemies which don't really go with the terrain are present, sometimes with graphical glitches. Enemies are seemingly floating in the air, or packed into absurd places, all in the name of difficulty. Nothing about the game itself bears any kind of professional polish.
The level design in this game is BRILLIANT. It contains everything relevant to create the most hardcore classical Mario gameplay. The levels are very elegant and nicely crafted based on the game's mechanics. It was clearly made by someone who actually PLAYED THE GAME. If you want to see ridiculous level design try Super Demo World. It made me puke then eat my vomit from the floor and puke again. Not only the levels are plain retarded but the author has added [Removed] into it that the game is anything but Super Mario World. ---- Edit by FractalFusion: Edited the post. Do not insult the author of Super Demo World.
