Yes, it desynched for me in Topsail Trouble, too. But up to this point it was just GREAT to watch. I hope you will continue this run, but apparently you have to use nitsuja's version. Did you download the newest version? Maybe you can ask nitsuja why your framerate is dropping.

is it still desynching at other places for other ppl?
We can't continue watching because it's desynching in this bonus room. I really recommend to download nitsuja's version and remake the whole thing.

I liked the (mid-)boss fights, but I think the wheel was more entertaining during the levels. But damn, if it's the fastest way, then do it the fastest way! How much faster is this compared to Bisqwit's run?

Hmm...I use exactly the same settings, rom and Snes-version as JXQ, but I get a desynch at this place:

I also like it. Would be a great improvement. Btw: The bird at the end of each level is cool!

It desynched in the 2nd level during the canon-bonus-level because you miss one star. Is it possible to collect the stars while climbing the ropes by jumping and not by usual climbing? Your jumping the ropes looks much better now. Now you have to solve the desynch problem. Which Snes-version do you use?

It desynchs for me, too (same place like Spoon). Concerning the 2nd level: I don't know, but somehow your jumping up the ropes look kinda sloppy. Can it be done faster? Edit: Just watched Sami's published movie again and his climbing is faster I think. Just watch Slime Climb in world 3. Keep improving your work. I would definitely like to see a 102% TAS!

If you loaded the savestate once without read-only you have to download it again and then check read-only. Otherwise it won't work.

hmm...I just made a movie which finishes dungeon 8 after 3. The good thing is: I have the Rod and the L2-Power Bracelett so lot's of time would be saved in dungeon 6. Movie PS: The movie's kind of sloppy...real time playing (with several rerecords) Edit: If you finish dungeon 7 with this glitch, the rooster + the 3rd song could completely be skipped...

but remember that you don't need the rod; you can just spinslash him in that form (as exhibited by the glitched black and white run).
I was talking about the boss in dungeon 8, the fire-thing. As far as I know it's only vulnerable to the rod.

The way I see it, there should be 2 runs; one using this glitchy route, and one 100% route.
Please do the "normal" route. The glitchy route is quite interesting (as I was able to enter dungeon 6, 7 and 8), but I don't like the game beaten again by some mysterious warps. Edit: This hookshot glitch is cool!

I just did some experiments with Graveworms movie and extended it a bit and this is the result: Click! It's quite funny :) Edit: And now I found a way to get to the nightmare's room. On my way I'm crossing the room of boss 8. It's also possible to fight him, but it's hopeless since you don't have the rod. Edit2: Sorry to bother you with all this (I guess) quite useless stuff, but this glitch is really weird. Crazy floor!

It is really entertaining, but the times you walked diagonally instead of jumping (while you had the feather equipped) are becoming increasingly noticeable as mistakes.
Where exactly? I couldn't find (maybe one) any situation when jumping would have helped. You can't jump into the next screen (except entrances to houses, caves etc.). The movie is really great! About the new glitches Graveworm discovered: Personally, I don't like them because they contain some "mysterious warping" and in my opinion the existing run uses enough of these warpings, although it is another method to generate the warp. Remember: It's just my point of view ;)

Wow, it's quite hard to follow... In my opinion this is highly entertaining, although it is a racing game.

It works, but it runs quite slow on my computer. Don't know why because other games don't have this problem Edit: Ah, that's weird: Now, even other games run very slow... Edit2: New mupen installation -> speed problem solved. WaveRace is emulated correctly as fas as I can see, but only with Jabo's 1.6 video-plugin.

I don't have a clue about the game, but this one got a WTF-moment so I will definitely like a complete TAS of this game. Do it, please!

Well, I guess my previous post is needless now ;) But what about an arrow refill in dungeon 8 on E2 or C5? It won't take that long I think... Saving arrows by using the l/r-glitch to open walls would be the most elegant way, though.

Aah, I was waiting for an update :) Looks really good and 7.5 seconds is a nice improvement for such a short distance! About the bat-thing...hmm... First of all, you can find nice maps of each dungeon here. I just tried to count the flying bombs and arrows: dungeon 3: 1 bomb dungeon 4: 1 bomb dungeon 5: 1 bomb 2 arrows dungeon 6: 3 bombs 2 arrows dungeon 7: 1 bomb dungeon 8: 3 bombs 2 arrows Hope the number is correct. It's not easy to recognize those small things on the map. Plus there are items under some pots/mugs and I think the amount collected will be enough for the entire game so I won't suggest to visit the bats. It depends on how far they (the bombs/arrows) are out of the way and that's a thing I can't estimate... So honestly...I really don't know :(

I'm giving up...I tried a lot, but eventually it will desynch :( Maybe someone can make a new .avi? That would be really nice! Or I just wait for the published run (Guanos speed and patience is amazing!) :)

Just in case someone is willing to improve the extisting run: I was just skimming the SDA forums and found this topic which contained a very useful advice.
On level 6-2, there is a hidden door directly above the door on the first screen. This lets you skip the first three bosses, but the remaining bosses are harder (they move faster). Note that the TAS does not use this strategy.
If this is true, it will save a lot of time.

na, mute doesn't do anything
Well, I think that's the reason why I toggled "Off"additionally. Because "Mute" didn't work and after that the game ran in highspeed. Switching the speed manually to 101% or 99% (not 100%) solves the problem.

Ok, I only skimmed through the last three pages, but couldn't find any post mentioning this bug: When you toggle "Mute" and "Off" in the Sound menu the game will run at 500-800%. Actually this is not really important...but hey, I found a bug :)
