Some of the more popular games out there already have text editor utilities available, but otherwise, yeah, it's a pretty monotonous and frustrating task to just pick up.

Mostly just Monopoly. Scattergories also comes up, if you wish to count that as a board game. I'll also play chess, though it is certainly not my strong suit.

NES emulators often have the option of removing sprites per line limitations, and there is also a video plugin for N64 emulators that allow you to patch in higher-resolution textures.

Apparently that "zombie anime" I didn't recognize is Hellsing (many minus points to my nerd factor for not knowing, I suppose).
If it makes you feel any better, I had never seen a single episode of Hellsing until a couple of months ago. As an aside, it's one of the few anime series that were just a bit too painful to watch the English dub of. Oh well, we can't all be Cowboy Bebop.

If you're actually interested in a temporary static mirror, I have ample space and bandwidth. Might be a tad bit of overkill for a projected downtime that small, but it wouldn't hurt.

And just replacing the tracks doesn't exactly work - like with Track 2, which is the Metal Sonic sound in the US and the Time Warp in the Japanese...
I physically own the Japanese and American versions, and track 2 is identical between them. Track 2 is the sound that was intended to play during time travel, but the MIDI sound effect was chosen above CDDA in the end. I can't wait til next week, when I can watch this D:

I found the PS1 Mega Man games to be quite unenjoyable when compared to their predecessors. The slightly overhead perspective is simply unsuitable for a series that is dependent on precise platforming. The games are also riddled with numerous other bonehead design decisions, with X5 and X6 being the worst offenders. I haven't even bother finishing most of the games.
I loved X4 to pieces. X5 and X6, however, can go rot in hell, or wherever horribly designed and executed games go to die. X6 at least had some nice music, though.

I can't even watch Terminator 2 anymore. I tried, and I just can't. First one was better, far as I'm concerned, and that's even considering that I don't think whatshisface who played Kyle Reese can act. In truth, I don't even see why Cameron is such a celebrated director... On the other hand, the second X-Men flick was better than the first. And is there anyone who doesn't think Sonic 2 is better than its predecessor? Well, I'm sure there is, but still.

Movie-wise: X-Men 3. I would have vastly preferred the whole film be delayed until Bryan Singer et al were available to work on it. Oh well. Game-wise: Tetris 2. I'm not sure how it is you can combine Tetris and Dr Mario into one game and make it boring, but this is proof that it is indeed possible. At least Tetris & Dr Mario, Tetris Attack (Panel de Pon, if you insist), and Tetrisphere made up for it.

He could have used L1 to set the battle and message speed to maximum much quicker, and he somehow neglected to run after ascending the first flight of stairs. Edit: Nevermind, after reading the comments in the sidebar, I see that the walking was a sort of luck manipulation. Interesting. Alright, I'm feeling less harsh toward this project, now.

I suppose I'll be the first to contribute to the XBL gamertags: superjupi Despite having a Gold membership, I actually don't play online much. When I do, chances are it's SFII Turbo, though the match ups sure have grown slim in recent months... I'm sure they'll pick up again once HD Revival is finally released, assuming the sun doesn't become a red giant first.

After my previous webhost has failed me inexplicably, I went with a new host. I don't recall exactly which images were in which positions before, but that's my fault for not keeping a backup with proper filenames.

I am a sucker for Daisy
Hi, I'm Daisy! Seriously, though, I've been more partial to her than Peach in recent years. She's also the meme posterchild for repetitive voice samples, which earns her a special place in my heart.
Jill's moves are pathetic, and she only has two or three voice samples... which are repeated constantly. "I'm a member of STARS! I'm a member of STARS! Hi, I'm Daisy!"

To be fair, Auron wasn't actually crippled*. The limp arm inside the kimono (not that it was a kimono, but stay with me here) is a cultural thing that just sort of happened to not be well-known to the rest of the world. lolspoiler *Unless being dead counts as being crippled, anyway.

I give everything a quick look over before I hit the 'submit' button, and then read it again after posting. Somehow, I usually tend to miss something before submitting, and will have to go back and edit regardless. It's frustrating and fascinating at the same time.

I try to keep friends around who are spelling/grammar nazis for this express purpose. Nobody is perfect, but if we help eachother, we do move ever closer to the ideal. And as an aside, 'a universal phenomenon' would be the proper expression, due to pronunciation. We certainly do have a goofy language...
