*praises for game here* Ah, just play it. I'm sure it's as TASable as the GBA games.

That reminds me of this madness I chanced upon: http://www.videoludica.com/news/gamestudies/saggio-il-videogioco-inesistente?get=RuffinoVideogameThatNeverWas.pdf&lang=en Apparently Cheetahmen II doesn't exist either.

Last question, does all sound can be found on the CD game in a single folder or you had to found them one by one..? and did you guys used pcsx to decode the whole thing??
I ripped the soundtrack for myself using ISO Buster. It was easy. Pretty much every song was in one spot.

thx for telling me it's 'M that evolves to kangaskhan, I suggested catching it because it'll be necessary to fight a glitch pokemon to get lots of rare candies anyway, and catching and evolving it is probably faster than running from it and catching kangaskhan later. Why wouldn't you recommend this?
Well, I don't think 'M is as dangerous as most reports, but it would probably glitch parts of the game you don't want it to. But thinking about it now, maybe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. :/

I don't know much about missingnos, but a friend of mine reported that he caught one and it evolved to kangaskhan, could this save some time?
'M is the one that evolves into Kangaskhan, and I wouldn't recommend catching one of those.

Popful Mail was originally for the PC-88 and PC-98 and then ported to the PC Engine-CD. There was also a SNES version which was much different from the original versions and the Sega CD version. And to think I didn't know about this game until I saw this thread. XD

I've played this game a little, and it's a good game even if it is McDonald's (just like MC Kids, I guess). Ronald walks fast enough to make it reasonably TASable. The handkerchief could prove to be useful. I don't know about any glitches, though.

Any noteworthy games for this system that aren't arcade ports or Mario?

What's meaning of "UNL"??? I really want to know the version of this rom!!!
It stands for Unlicensed. While we're at it, what does "JAN" mean? ?_?

Even if this run is good, since it's an unlicensed port, and we already have the Genesis version on the site (wish it was the SNES version...), it's very likely this won't be accepted. :/

I've written love song lyrics to both the Dr. Mario theme and Mario's Time Machine's surfing theme, and hoedown lyrics to Super Mario 64's slide theme. Oh! And a theme song for the Cheetahmen.

I don't know about you guys, but seeing a game completed fast as possible is usually entertainment enough for me. Yes vote

But that's what's great about Active's games- they're just that bad!

I love the fact that despite your best efforts, the game would just dump coins on top of you. XD PS yes vote

Reality Boy is the best at the moment. It supports almost every VB game, and you can even play them in 3D if you have some 3D glasses on hand. Unfortunately it doesn't emulate sound, and I don't think it ever will since the last version was in 2006. Also, don't buy the idea that Red Dragon is best, because I've tried it and it's not true.

I actually rather enjoyed that. Like you said, it needs some optimizing, and finding some useful glitches wouldn't hurt either.

It's legal, though; the site only hosts abandonware.
The abandonware concept is not actually recognized by law, so it's still technically illegal. :(

Watched a bit of it, and I think it could be faster. Considering it's Sonic-style, I expected it be a lot faster. It needs more running. Keep trying though!

I watched it, and I found it entertaining. Sure, it wasn't zoom-look-I'm-really-fast, but that's the game's fault. Maybe you can find some glitches?

School's over, so going to attempt a level. What exactly is the technique for the dash in this? Forecast: 100% chance of lots of trial and error and a learning experience. Bleh. x_X
