In terms of a watchable TAS, I think this is a decent enough watch. Seeing enemies pass up tasty morsels of attacks on characters so ofter was pretty funny too. In terms of how much effort you put into turning out this movie, I'm a bit more shocked. Your way is definitely preferable to those who may come after you, seeing as you released the tools as well as the end result. Voted yes, but no need. It's faster, and the description of how it was made is among the more interesting I've read.

I voted yes, but the movie itself ended up being weirder than I had expected from reading the description of it. The effort put into it is obvious, but the game itself is rather an imposition on what I've lived with in the US culture. I can't think of a phrase to adequately describe this game to someone who wanted a succinct description, and that's just not something I'm used to.

I've never seen this trick in Dr. Mario, and to have it go off in such a way as half the screen of them disappears forced me to take a closer look at your movie description. I was quite astounded that it was possible to do that in Dr. Mario, and having the fullest possible version of this trick be my first exposure to it was suitably entertaining. Definitely deserves a spot with the rest of the site's movies.

I don't know the details of how this could be best TASed, but I do know that it's entertaining enough for me. Yes vote.

This is a pretty darn good glitch run. Quite a good number of glitch stats to abuse, and well within the range of other runs on this site. Yes vote, because it's entertaining.

This played at least as well as Glover does in an emulator. It's not nearly as picky as the Zelda submissions I tried to play before. I decided to just watch the movie and be surprised about what happened, and I certainly was. Having used save-states in the Mr. Vile game, and comparing that to what happened when he was playing, practically begging to lose, I have to admit that I saw the technical prowess, and I also saw more of the specific areas of unique technical achievement than I usually do in a TAS, as I actually played this game to 100% completion previously. The route logistics were quite good, and sort of freaked me out about possible desynchs a few times. The only real problem I had was with error messages about graphics processing popping up, requiring that I save a state in the movie, reload the emulator and movie, then load the state to continue on without the errors. That this is going to end up on the site is a no-brainer. Feel free to watch it in an emulator if you've done so with other N64 movies. It shouldn't be too terrible, even if it is a CPU hog of a game.

It looked like what I've come to expect from a Speedrun on the site. Entertaining enough, though the emulator didn't want to play well on this comp. I'd say add it.

I think this is a good one. The time spent walking is what makes the movie a drag, but all the tricks used, combined with a bit of fast forwarding through the terrain, made this worth watching. Definitely ranks high in the technical quality, given how much info had to be yanked from the game to skip so much of it.

Quite entertaining, and I'm even able to see a number of spots where your technical knowledge of the game is really pushed to the foreground.

I think this would be a good addition to the site. The extra deaths for the Hadouken move reduced the entertainment a bit, but as a 100% run, it was required, and it definitely kept the speed high after you got the move. Barely tapped the speed button for a game-time minute while watching it.

I thought it was entertaining enough to end up on the site. Certainly, the speed-up button was necessary, but it was expected to be in my case. I used 1.43 v15.3(das new one), and it didn't have any trouble.

I'm a little ignorant of the specifics, but it looked well done, and some little tidbits of stuff kept me occupied, like how they avoided some of the stuff one normally goes out of their way to get, like the volcano frog coins, but even in the spots I'd watched and done before, there were little surprises, so it kept me interested in tactics.

Why watch it? Why not. It's so quick that it defies any attempt to make a judgment call. It's also definitely techy to run situations through bots. Some people don't realize how much time it really takes to accumulate bot data, so I'm betting it's a decent mix of understanding, combined with a lot of bot time to test things.

I have to say that despite the issues, it seems worth watching. If someone's going to best it, that would be nice, but overall, I think it's worth a view. I saw a lot of stuff that looked like it took a lot of time, but also saw where a lot of it saved time too.

An action packed minute after a boring title screen. Works for me.

Last thing I was expecting was for there to be an improvement in the final battle. I expected that to be picked over so much that it would have an unbeatable time already. The new camera angles made the game look a lot different, especially with the action hidden in a couple spots, but easier to see in others.

Neat trick to add. I also liked how the stage was played differently the second time. I watched the previous TAS already, and it's a novel improvement.

Can't use the emulator files for most N64 speedruns, so I watched the desynched sound AVI. It's a 'yes' vote just because it has the value of wondering where the next goal is, and how it's going to be reached.

Yes. This run is amazing. Cutting the game to ribbons like that was very entertaining.

The improvements are getting harder to spot at this point, with such micro-management going on, but I thought the major route change in BitFS was a nice sign that more time could be saved by trying things that are counter-intuitive. This 0-Star frame war still maintains my interest, given how much effort has gone into it. All the different tactics that have been used to make the 70-star strats, the 50-star strats, the 16-star strats, and the 1-star strat have all had the cumulative effect of leading to the micro-optimizations I'm seeing now. If you didn't follow the progression, it would be hard to see where some people got their ideas from.

I've never seen such a small number of saved frames count for so much. I had to watch it twice to see the spots where I blinked my eyes. Yes vote because I enjoyed the first one, and because of the 2 million bot attempts. 14 frames doesn't look like much until you realize where most of them were removed from compared to the old run.

Quite a fun watch. It's fast, and I've played the game before, so I was wondering if it was incomplete at under 2 minutes. Voted yes, it's certainly worth 2 minutes.

A worthy first submission of Pipe Dream. Played it once upon a time on the console, so it's nice to see someone kill it with bloody murder in mind.

Seems there's a bit of controversy over this run, but I voted yes because even if some tricks are missing, it's better than having no run of the game at all. I found it entertaining, even thought my untrained eye spotted a few questionable tactics.

1. The game sucks 2. This shows the best possible way to play games that suck: as fast as inhumanly possible voted yes
