Just informing, I haven't abandon this run. It just I didn't have much time lately. At my work, they screw up their "system" and everyone in my work have to start over works, so they keep adding more overtime hours. Whenever I finish my work, I didn't feel like do anymore and sit back relax, mostly tv. Whenever work hours gets back to normal, I'll be able to focus on this TAS.

ok sooooo.... I'm finally out of Mars fight - bunch of gain / loss inbetween fight, but in total, 2 frames saved - and another 2 frames saved selecting Venus. My previous WIP had few BIG mistakes in Venus level - I should be able to save at least 5 seconds in there. *goes to work on Venus level*

Yep I looked into timing from yesterday, it was from lagging from sliding and saltwater being remaining in air long enough. I'll fix it sometime. Yeah I already know about killing Uranus quick like that - it is quicker than firing normally.

I'm a little struggling on Mars boss fight, I were able to start fight 11 frames faster, but somehow I lost like big fat 23 frames. I don't know why, battle went smooth - I hit boss whenever he lose invulnerable ASAP. Gain 10 then lose 23 is big no no. I'm suspecting his invulnerable went on too long compare to previous WIP. I didn't have much time to work on this this week, I hope next week I would have more time on this.

Those helicopter part in Nepture? I left those inputs alone until long ladder part. These are 2005 inputs, haha. The rest is new. I have been busy lately, work piling up and some personal unfinished business (soon to be finished tho) - I'm expecting to be able resume some more this week - like at least finish Mars boss and Dark Moon boss.

First link obviously says "This movie requires FCEU 0.98.12". But yeah, redoing TAS for newer emu is not a bad idea.

I'm somewhat back on this run, just reached first mini-boss in Mars - 6 seconds faster than previous WIP. *edit - at Mars boss, nearly 10 sec faster - off to bed.

I had been working into Mars level a little bit, I did gain a few frames 1/4 way of level but I notice I did make a lot of slow-down in different place. I'll redo and track down all frame gain / loss stuff. I'll pause on this work for a bit - yesterday they just release DLC for Disgaea 3 - I bought them, so I'm gonna play with them for a while until I get bore of them.

Hey, just to say I'm working on MM5 again (WIP #3). I'm already about 100 frames faster than previous WIP in just first level completed. I think I will also save 15 seconds more whenever I catch up to where I left off in 2nd WIP. I'm not sure when will I finish it because I have recently got job like 3 weeks ago, but I feel super motivated to work on TAS for this game now.

3 hour? I haven't played Parasite Eve for a while but I swear that it can be beaten in 3 hours unassisted so I constantly thinking it can be finished in 2 hours with TAS.

I think so. If someone creates program that converts input movie into specific letter (for button presses), creates typeset for each button, put them as softsub for video. Or whatever along those steps, I don't know much about softsub, but I heard softsub shows text onto video without encoding new video.

edit: is there any way to use some gameshark codes? id like to be able to give me all weapons to test stuff on nemesis and see what weapon is the fastest way, i tryed to look to cheat editor but hum, im kinda too noob to figure out how to do it
yeah, PEC plug-in. go to http://www.ngemu.com/psx/epsxe.php?action=tools and scroll down to cheating section. Once you download it, unzip it, set it up as graphic plugin. Then set PEC plug-in to use another graphic plugin. I don't remember how to use it, been a long time. But it does work, at least for ePSXe.

I'm just wondering is entering password allowed in middle of movie when one's aiming to start game from begin to end? It just a question I just thought up of when I'm thinking about using password to refill weapon energy in Mega Man 5 GB. Such as looking at password, exit (or reset) back to title screen, enter password, weapon energy full.

I'm pretty much fan of any Let's Play. I finished Paper Mario TTYD once, but I somehow didn't feel like playing all the way on the 2nd play. I'm looking forward to the rest of it, theenglishman.
