No, close. And ITS NOT SHITTY =( Boco, yes thanks, I have seen these, but I guess it's more simple. I guess I wasn't clear enough with where I'm stuck on reading. Here's where my problem falls in.. *goes randomly select japanese characters from ultimagarden* おてう -> o te zu (I hope I got these right?) -> ???? (translate in english?)

I ordered an import Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission (along with Swap Magic 3.6 + Slide Tool) few days ago. But I have tiny to no knowledge on reading Japanese language. I could use any help that would point me to good website that inform how to read, or show me any basic terms that Final Fantasy will use. (Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Fight, etc..). So would any of you help? I should have this game in 1 or 2 weeks, I wanted to be more prepared to play it. If you are wondering why did I order a Japanese game without me knowing any Japanese language, please put a little research on this game.

It's steps count AFAIK, but I can't locate address for that... But I found that you can change step count from frame based during the battle screen. For example, if you close battle screen at frame 3000, you might have 10 steps before another battle, but if you close battle screen at frame 3001 instead, you might have 20 steps before another battle.

Interesting, I'm going to try help finding useful memories with BGB emu. Which are you looking for specific? The memory viewer, they are just view the current value within game, it doesn't search.

IE6 destroyed my computer twice, first was kernal32.dll was modified. I couldn't find any fix for it because it didn't let me run any program. All I could do is reformat computer (10+ hours installing everything back in again) Second was modified ActiveX, I couldn't see most things on internet. I couldn't find any fix for it, again reformatted computer. With Firefox, it does better job blocking internal modification, extension makes it even better (NoScript, blocks malicious javascript stuff). And I'm considering to uninstall AVG virus scanner, I never got any virus with Firefox. But I had to keep AVG virus scanner anyway because of Firefox can't embed video so I have to open IE the page that shows no video. *edit - better terms

You can't force people to change their opinion whether they like or dislike the game. So why even bother posting, funguy10?

I have Activision Classics so I will be able to watch and vote if it's one of these game that I have played. The following games that would be interesting to watch in TAS: Enduro River Raid River Raid 2 HERO Frost Bite (I'm not sure about other games, I would have to go over them again -_-..) Whoever that willing attach rerecording function to whichever Atari 2600 emu will have my support.

Lot of lags, it can't be helped, but 4 characters controlled at once is amazing. Yes vote.

I don't know if I am blocking ads or not, I can't see any ads. I'm using the following (that might be related to problem): Firefox 2 Extensions: Adblock (tasvideos not on it) Linkification (this extension convert plain URL text into clickable link) NoScript (tasvideos is permitted on it, nothing else to permit on the list)

Could be VBA emulation problem, this same rom played fine at final boss on BGB.

I half agreed and disagreed with you. On parts I don't agree with. Controls, they are fine, but I wish they came up another way to switch weapon. Visor, they were fine, I could see things since they are mostly transparent, except the helmet part wasting the screen space. Game being dark, I remember there is only 1 area that's extremely dark, at least it's not Doom 3... I think that's it, everything else I agree with you.

I haven't touch zsnes TAS tool around yet, because I haven't find any way to quick savestate and quickload savestate, and I didn't see any customizable key-binding option somewhere. And I noticed inaccuracy emulation. Like Legend of Zelda, intro - triforce comes together too slow. Secret of the Stars, when you encounter battle, something blink right before battle screen comes up, it shouldn't do that. I bet there's more like that on other games. The only reason I play on zsnes is playing game normally with GamePad (for now..)

Hmm...I don't know if it would be worthy to power up your arrow before. The boss fights (especially the snake) are quite long and boring to watch. ... In my opinion, you should sacrifice some frames at the end of each level and kill more enemies to raise the entertainment value...
I know =/. In order to get more arrow power up, I have to kill a lot enemies (I mean, a lot!). I don't know how many but the address C05F has to arrive to 10, then I can go to Zeus room and he will give me arrow power up. Plus, I tested with 3 arrows powered up, it only hurt boss by 1 point. Plus, after many enemies killed, they add up points to end of level, costing even more frames.

But all in all a good test run! I hope you will start a serious TAS of this game.
Maybe. Before that I need to figure out how to make snake boss look more fun or faster. And figure out why final boss crashes. *edit - fix point of view.

yes yes YES! When I saw the published movie, it looked easily improvable (mostly extra scene). Then I tried to do this with tools, it's difficult because items are *almost* not manipulable. It's either when / where enemy shows up, and when enemy dies. And I also found that you need the following 13 shells, 30,000 points, etc.. in order to finish this game fast is also difficult, because game seem to not want to give me enough points or shell, either way. Or I'm just having bad luck :|

Sweet. An update, unfortunately "remove frames" still crash for me. I'll PM you a GMV, a direction to reproduce crash, and an instruction on what I wanted to do to the GMV... It's a repeating action for 57 times. EDIT: Guys, there's issue with pasting frames, it does not paste "after", these method are temporary fix. To paste at last frame: ABCDEF 1. duplicate the last frame (copy and paste) - ABCDEFF 2. then paste ON last frame - ABCDEFF 3. remove the duplicated frame at the end - ABCDEF...F To paste in middle of frames: If your pasting target is "after 700", then just paste at 701
