I like where it's going. I'd like to see character name instead of letter, "Z sees death"

Not sure if this has been posted since I havent read all 13 pages but I know a really good method of leveling
On page 2, I demonstrated the exp trick but I took off movie file some months ago. It's done with casting Wall on entire team, then cast Wall again, it bounce off and land on to enemy. Cast magic on Wall'd enemy.

It played correctly until near end, where you died to a door with bomb, you could overwrite those desync with version 9 and continue onward.

Use tracer log real short time.. like just before you hit enemy, turn on.. hit landed, turn off.. exit snes and look at log. I don't know anything about ASM but that's how it goes I guess.

I believe so, I thought I was impressed with 5 hours on SDA until I watched it. I saw many mistake in it, one of biggest mistake I saw is him running out entire witch castle after defeating tiger. He could just talk to witch to warp to entrance instantly. So it should be under 3 hours on TAS easily.

No, but not exactly "no". It just not today, not tomarrow, not 1 week from now. It's either much later in future (2+ years) or never. Someone has to make GOOD open source emulator and TASer need to have good computer to make movie. So there's no point in continuing this dicussion, right?... right?

I can't access that website with either Firefox and IE for some reason, my friend said he can access. Even with sneak2.com.

Looks good so far, nice optimized health energy / get hit to gain speed. Except I didn't see the Dive Man fight, movie ended when you enter his room.

Using a breakpoint, of course, on that RAM address you have given. Emulator will stop at where it execute making a change to the RAM address, showing you where it stopped in the ROM area. *edit - I had quick and dirty website made about finding "game genie" code and hacking in "game genie" code into ROM, in hoping to increase GB hackers over on www.gscentral.org . It didn't anyway - It's over at http://ventuz.homestead.com/files/gb_gg/gb_gg.html - maybe look at it to give you idea how to do it on other debuggers too.

I did search ROM / RAM for Hyper Loderunner for level structure and contributed to datacrystal site in hoping for someone to make level editor based on that. But apparently no programmer browse into GB section or something. I can help with searching ROM / RAM (I'm pretty better at that with GB), just ask which game (snes or gb) - or you can try ask Parasyte at gscentral.org, he's expert with hacking any console/handheld. (even NDS)

What is the source for this last trick?
What the heck.. I did reinterpreted the trick from some site to post here and posted all the link I got the source. It's either they deleted the trick or I misinterpretated. Sorry. No, I didn't try it.

Well, none of the Plugins will download, so...
They work fine, I was able to download. The download button is the picture of floppy disk. I recommend Pete's GPU Plugins for the graphic and Eternal SPU for the sound. http://www.ngemu.com/download.php?action=plugin&id=1 download for Pete's GPU Plugins http://www.ngemu.com/download.php?action=plugin&id=2 download for Eternal SPU For bio, you will need to search. Find out what your emulator says which bio version is best for the emulator. Best bio version for ePSXe is 7502, I don't know what about pSX tho. You sure that you need plugins and bio for pSX? They claim it doesn't need plugins and bio.

Hmm do you have any of your file on "read-only" checked? (even the folder itself).. and your computer is on "system recovery" (or something like that).. one of those probly causing settings to roll-back.

until a memory viewer is added to snes9x, so I can actually manipulate useful enemy item drops *all drops seen in this run are complete and utter luck, no manipulation was involved*. *pre-post edit* maybe it was because they were all 1 turn kills of the enemy? i dont know.
We have memory viewer on snes9x now don't we? I went into play around with searching cheat thing... I think memory 7E0DA8 might be related to item drop rate, it always reset back to 0 every after battle, and (kind of) gain +1 each frames (sometime it does 55, 56, 57, 57, 59, 60... or 55, 56, 57, 57, 58, 59, 61... something like that) And then when you get into battle, that number freeze on it until the end of battle, it goes back to 0 again. Maybe there's some sort of algorithm to use that memory to drop item or not to drop item.

This game is awesome, but pretty much underrated game. I don't know if it's a bad game choice to TAS. I'd watch, but I don't know what about the others.
