Yes, when I used to played CT alot backthen, sometime I had run into area, and it become locked event, sometime i run in there, and nothing happening, you have to walk to Marle to trigger the event.

Ogre Battle would be interesting to watch luck maintaining random item (get phat lewt everytime), card choice, good random battle, invitation, and close fights.

Very good, I voted yes because any Mega Man is always fun to watch. Do Rockman and Forte next!

Incomplete does not matter, theres incomplete speedrun Super Mario World, theres incomplete speedrun of Super Metroid, theres incomplete speedrun of this and that. Explain why "no" vote? If he going to do it in Full run, it might not overwrite over "fake ending" speedrun. How bout request that in nes games, and rethink your post?

You really just have to weigh variables with each other. I mean is the whip really necessary? 1) How long it takes to switch to the whip for the rare crossing a chasm 2) How long it would take to beat final boss with uncharged sword 3) How long it would take to switch to axe for rock obstacles 4) How much time would be lost due to losing the small improvement on spear.
I didnt think Spear would be used that much in making speedrun, (avoid all npc, luck maintain, etc..) To Zer0, very good. But, im not sure if this will make faster. Over on the little bridges at beginning, dont take all the steps - take upper diagonally. And at that point ghost calling you "...A..., ...A..." start off running lower right diagonally instead of straight down?

I think that for speed run, weapon of choice would be sword (boy), whip (girl/sprite) and ax (girl/sprite).. no time switching between spear and ax. ax is also for obstacles.

trying not bumping old topic, but my idea fits in this subject. How about Kirby's Dream Course? Would be excellent game to watch to see how perfect you do "hole in one" perfectly, fast, and no 'miss' mistake.

^^^ same.. also imo, some point gets boring, but some point gets interesting. Boring part is the game is forcing you to wait. Fun part is to see best quick battle strategy. I think its possible to improve in .1~1 sec, in level 2 in entrance to fan room, guy rolled left, and i saw arrow showed up and you had to roll back there and jump to next scene.

I think you NEED all mana seeds (except dryad) to get in Empire castle, when you find first Dark Stalker. And btw, I looked thru this thread again, noone is actually doing speedrun on this, makes me sad, lol. But I understand, it takes alot of planning to decide when to abuse exp glitch, when/where to go lev/buy/sell, and focus on time saving. Back to Exp Glitch topic, i think that after getting dryad magic, outside of dryad shrine on dark knight (that cast Wall) is excellent place to start right away using exp glitch.

(in response to Mazzic) If you kill Hero, he give little or none. If you kill Sprite, he give some exp. If you kill Girl, she give insane exp. I might be wrong, but i just know Girl gives better exp, play around on my movie.

For those that are not able to find correct ROM version, i have made little movie. Its in wmv extension, kind of bad quality but you can clearly see whats happening and can clearly see texts too. removed - 979kb (best compressed .rar)
