link and epona appear around frame 600 and the scene is approximately 50x more complex. but you say it's a blank frame? If you got to 600 with a lag counter of ~600, then game is malfunctioning. It should stop at 73. Solution: you have a garbage rom which is doing nothing for 600 frames and then going nuts. Find a rom that's not garbage.

If the debugger doesnt work, and I wouldnt be surprised if it doesn't because it's never finished, A. use lua, add memory write handler, get registers, print PC, bear in mind that it may be off by a few (consistently, one would hope) B. use trace logger, grep for address of interest and my personal favorite C. run bizhawk in visualstudio, add breakpoints to the emulator itself

It was condescending and patronizing, and you should expect to see it whenever you express a sentiment of entitlement to have a safe place free from offensive tones directed at things which weren't even you because it's an infantile attitude. I'm trying to teach you how to internet, young padawan.

I don't expect you to understand, but I'm currently exhibiting an unprecedented level of class by resisting the urge to edit your post to contain a haiku about how you like to eat boogers. I'll put it in my post instead. My name is zermous. I like to eat the boogers. please pour me some snot!

Did your daddy program webroot or something, why do you care if I call it shitty? Now that was an example of offensive. Calling a piece of software shitty is just a fact.

theres only the one snes core. i'm 99% sure your shitty security software is to blame.

when you run a NES rom, is it in neshawk or quicknes? Quicknes's libquicknes.dll is technically implemented similarly to libspeex.dll so I would expect them to both work or not work similarly.

it's not a problem with your rom. You have the SNES core, it isn't possible not to have it. You don't "import" the bsnes source code into bizhawk anymore than you "import" the specifications for your car into your car. its probably not something that isn't installed on your computer. the problem is probably something that IS installed on your computer, namely security software or somesuch. Try disabling your security software. Make sure youre dearchiving bizhawk to your desktop and not running the exe directly from the archive.

uhhh good point theres no way for users to set core options in bizhawk's libretro thing right now. Give me a little while, I'll think of a way to support this. What do you expect to get from vulkan, anyway? How does it make your life any better? Does it give sexy feelings or something? Its only use is getting a few more FPS from graphics hardware and maybe improving portability.

vulkan is useless to us. overclocking superfx is a technology _BSNES_ would have to have. We're not generally in the business of adding features to our emulation cores. Use the snes9x libretro in bizhawk.

That same screen which nobody reads apparently has a dozen options which affect savestate size.

Because it isn't a _F_ AQ, you're the only one who can't figure it out. You'd think you'd have learned by now not to trust your THINK. Click the options instead. Maybe the empty checkbox by the only italicized text on the screen would be a good place to start.

Hate to break the bad news to you but there's plenty of people who arent emulator programmers who are able to understand the simple concept that when a program says "rewind disabled", one should look for unchecked options labeled "rewind" and "enable" , and check them. You may seriously overestimate whereabouts youre located on the bellcurve of wits.
