Hi I'm posting this here because i do not have any ideas of what game to run (except the Megaman ZERO series) and that would be interesting or that anyone would like to see, so i'd be glad if you could post some ideas here... I begin with some ideas : - Megaman ZERO 1-2-3 (i've already done the 4th one) - The Legend of Zelda : The Minish Cap (tell me if it's a good idea, i might try it) - Kim Possible 1-2-3 (but those do not seem to interest many people considering the topics that have alredy been posted) - Spyro's games (i know it's for kids but it's fun) - Frogger's Adventure (This is even more for kids) - Sonic advance games (quite hard to do in a perfect way/I think the second one is the best as it seems to be the fastest one) - Mario advance (though they are the same games that existed on NES/SNES) - Pokemon/Shaman King (those are the same kind of games) ... etc and if you have any ideas they are more than welcome :):) Thx a lot...

I'd skip the Mario advance series if they are the same as the NES/SNES counterparts. It feels pointless doing the same games but for another system (I feel the same way about the Prince of Persia and Marble Madness runs). Otherwise I have no idea because I haven't played any of the games you suggested.

Do not limit yourself at this list... a Matrix anthem would be "Free Your Mind", so feel free to propose other games :)

To add a couple of entries to the list, how about Shaman King - Master of Spirits (plays like a castlevania game sorta) Disney's Magical Quest 1, 2, & 3 (1 is like the SNES version) Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland Kuru Kuru Kururin Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

-Mystiq Quest would be awesome to see. It's a Zelda-like game. I think it's a side track of the Final Fantasy serie (maybe Final Fantasy Mystic Quest) but my cartridge only says Mystic Quest ;) -Gargoyles Quest would be nice too see also. It's not the same game as the one for NES. It's a really good adventure game. Oh, and there are also great puzzle games, such as: -Boxxle. This is a Lolo-like game but with no enemies. Ok, it might not sound very exciting but the game is darn hard and I think the music is pretty cool ;) you put boxes around to get to the stairs (exit) in each level. It wasn't many but those are the ones I can think of now.

Walker: those are GB games, not GBA.

Oh.. You are right. Crap. I totally missed that, even though I saw that it was the GBA-forum. Uhm, I guess you should ignore my previous post then. I don't know any GBA-games that I can recommend either. Sorry.

Well, I was wondering: Since the GBA has better graphics, has a good color palette, has a better processor, etc etc. when compared to the GBx games, why don't we just record all of our GBx games using the GBA set up in VBA? Personally, I don't see why the GBx and GBA games are separated. As long as they don't require external conversions (read: Super Game Boy), shouldn't we treat them as equals?

I have no idea if this is even possible, or even it it were, if it could be played to a decent level, but... How about The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, the multiplayer game that came with A Link to the Past on the GBA. I think it be a great video, for the obvious reason that its a Zelda game, and multiplayer movies always seem to be entertaining. Also this is probably the only Zelda game that I wont be able to play, so seeing it would be nice. Of course the major problem is that it can only be played with 2-4 players, usually through a link cable, and as I have no idea if this can be done on an emulator. If it can be done, it be great to see all 4 links running around, however I can see this be almost impossible to do, so just the 2 links would be good to.

SMW for advanced might be interesting if you did a Luigi run; Luigi can jump higher, and can have Yoshi not eat as many enemies; for instance Yoshi can spit a pipe pyranna an enemy to kill it. I don't think it would be worth it until SMW runs become as near perfect as the ones for NES/FDS, it would be more of a novelty run, like Peach in SMB2. Klonoa might be interesting, since the levels are built for routes based on using enemies to get to hard to reach places. Blender Bros. is like Pokemon meets platformer, but it seems only a few of the catchables will be usefull in a time attack. Um, damn, I remember their being alot of querky 'lil platformers when the GBA was new. Spiro: Season of Ice was nice. Banjo Kazooie didn't suck much. Pinobee does suck much, but that might be ammended with save states, don't think it would look good, though. Perhaps better than the Micky Mouse games published, but not actually good.

Why has no one suggested Final Fantasy Tactics Advance? Does everbody think it's a horrible idea? I'd really like to see it done. I would fast forward through it though, since the pace of the game is very slow and one can easily see what's happening even with fast forward.

Metroid Fusion 0% run. Metroid Fusion 100% run. Metroid Zero Mission 100% run. Doom (??? ok disregard that) Boulderdash EX (that would be fun) Jazz Jackrabbit Besides of what has been mentioned by the others above, that's all I want.

Mm, off the top of my head, I'd personally like to see: Advance Wars 1 + 2 (Fewest amount of days/unexpected strategies, etc) All three Bokura no Taiyou/Boktai games Mario & Luigi Shining Soul 1 + 2 (A low level Magician run would be very interesting >>) Grand Theft Auto Advance Any Rockman.EXE/MMBN game Any Super Robot Wars game (See: Advance Wars) Shaman King - Master of Spirits 1 and 2 (2 is slightly better but still bland as hell... hard, though. >>) Denki Blocks (As few moves as possible/getting all the specified shapes)

Patches are okay as long as the game is not playable on an emulator without it, and it doesn't change anything else than that.

Alright, though i do not really catch the system of the game (with the light of the sun...) so if anyone want to try it, i will not be that person... I checked Klonoa it seems quite interesting to run... i shall work on it with MMZ3 as well...

I want to see a TAS of one of the sonic advance games espically since there is a greater sense of speed in them than the originals. Sonic Advance 3 would be the best one to make a TAS for since it is viewed as the best sonic advance game but Sonic Advance 2 could be interesting as well since it is the fastest sonic game ever.

I (personnally) prefer Sonic advance 2, it's really fast and it's not that easy... the boss fights are a pretty tough challenge as you're running while fighting Robotnik (Eggman)... I find the sonic advance 3 a bit boring, though if someone could handle a 100% run, it would be cool :) (though i think it's an extremely hard challenge to undertake...) Anyway, it's true that running through a sonic GBA game would be a good idea...
