Post subject: Whats the furthest you can get in this infinite mario game?

Also I found a glitch which causes enemies to completely disappear so don't post the level you get to if you encounter this glitch (with this glitch I got to a level over 1000). My best score is world 123?

I haven't yet gotten further than world 85 or so. Embarrassingly difficult for me. On the other hand, the game seems to err on the side of killing you whenever it has a choice (mario falling and enemy rising so fast that you phase a bit into it and die from it? no problem! kill an enemy on the same frame your shell kills it? too bad! run forward into an enemy during the fadein? etc etc) though a lot of it is personal lack of skill. I also encountered the glitch you speak of - it happened after I killed/died to a jump-out pirahna plant using a held shell.

I couldn't play it on the gamepad so I quit. Also, mario doesn't jump higher when running, why? That's common knowledge. That and the fact that he can't jump on every enemy without dying.

I think I got 53 or something like that. Screwy physics. Mario should accelerate slower and deaccelerate faster, and he should jump taller when running, and he should stomp enemies by default if they collide whenever Mario is at a higher location.

If you release a shell right after you turn around, you'll bump into it.

Bullet bills are neither supposed to flicker nor are they supposed to obey gravity. Oh, and the graphics are a mismatch from several different games. As for my score? like 20-ish. I am pathetic at this.

I died by a teleporting bullet bill. Also, the collision detection in this game needs some work.

Great ideal, terrible physics. If it's going to be called and look like Mario, it has to at least resemble mario in the most important aspects of gameplay. Another oddity sometimes jumping on the carnivorous plants kills them, sometimes it kills you. Got to world 53

The game often creeps to a halt and causes me to die, and the controls need a bit of work. I can get to about 95 before getting bored.
