Wouldn't it be common sense to just implement a signature ignore feature into the forums? Bloody hell, all you guys care about is arguing, you never try to find a solution that makes the most people happy. If someone doesn't want to see his signature, fine, they can just click the ignore button. No forced signature removal required. I refrain from placing my opinions into the subject matter of Bisqwit's signature.

Actually, I'm not sure I do. All you seem to be saying is "some muslims are bad, therefore islam is bad" but you avoid the similar argument "some christians are bad, therefore christianity is bad".

News articles like this can be read every week in British newspapers and hardly ever do any muftis, mullahs or imams say that they disagree.

XD Give me a break. All religion is bullshit, but Islam is extra bullshit. If you're naive and hypersensitive enough to actually believe that it's the "religion of peace" that it proclaims, then you deserve to be mocked and ridiculed.

For the record, I do not believe Islam is a religion of peace, nor do I think christianity, judaism or hinduism to be a peaceful religion. The "Islam is extra frightful and more violent religion" is utter bullshit. I remember George W Bush stating he went through with the war with Afghanistan and Iraq because his "christian god" told him to.. Imagine what world we would live in if god told lets say the prime minister of Sweden to attack Denmark or a "normal" human to go complete apeshit and fire everyone at sight. Why? Because god told them to do so.

Saying that Islam is "not a religion of peace" really serves no other purpose than to drive away an entire religious group because you don't really like them. And yeah, that's clearly bigoted and counterproductive. One could argue what we need right now is for people to try and find some common understanding so we can work together to solve our problems. The propaganda that some Christian and Jewish conservatives are serving up right now, which Bisqwit's signature echoes, runs counter to any such constructive effort. Anyway, I don't mind Bisqwit having up that signature. If that's what he believes: so be it. I'm not going to pester him about it. But since you asked me what I think about it: I believe it's bigoted and really the exact opposite of what we need these days.

So you managed to turn this into another thread on bashing religion? It's getting quite old. It's also just going to make everyone religious seclude themselves even further into their shell, so it's not going to amount to anything, or lead anywhere. With that said, carry on doing what you will.
