Nice thread Alaktorn :) I think Bean did one like this ages ago on mkwii.com, and there's also a TAS WR thread, but it doesn't include every single one like here :) I'm not surprised there isn't much activity tbh, there aren't many people round here who are really into the modern games so to speak :P

these are the best records for all tracks, sometimes split between different bikes Bean did WGM 3lap but David beat his time, so it got replaced

Nono, I mean Bean had a thread listing all the TASs' that had been made at the time, although most of them were Guillaume, but it's very old and dead now, but the search function on that forum sucks so I cba to find and link to it. Edit: I'm Nosey from the PP btw, I forgot to mention - considering I'm going by a different name over here.

I really don't know if a TAS of this game is going to be all that entertaining. To be honest, I found the game to be a rather boring after a while. I kinda dislike the speed runs done on SDA, but that's probably because he uses Daisy, the most annoying character in the game. >.> Personally, I'd rather see it done using Rosalina.

I'd rather see it done using a slower character than have to listen to Daisy for a one hour plus run. Her voice is so ANNOYING. And anyway, Rosalina is anything but slow once she gets the Bowser Bike. When I gave a damn about playing the game online against other people, I repeatedly stomped them with her.

Yeah I did the exact same thing. Good times. :) But I never tried to speedrun this game, so I don't know how fast she really is compared to others. Edit: Oh actually I used her other heavy bike, not the bowser bike.

Now I feel stupid. It actually was the Bowser Bike I just wasn't remembering it correctly. But she actually does have a faster bike that she gets later in the game. It's just that the drifting is horrible on it and the miniturbo (which TAS would use a lot no doubt) is basically nonexistent.

Oh, um...I can't remember the name of that bike, myself, cause I never use it. Although it's fast, it sucks! The Spear! I believe that's what it's called. Just kinda came to me, but I could be wrong. I don't really feel like popping the game into my Wii to make sure, though. I have no desire to play Mario Kart Wii for a while, cause the online play is really lacking and almost non-existent, and I usually kick all their butts anyway. Got the same way with Brawl using Pikachu until the game got too boring for me to give a damn anymore.

My TAS runs are all on my new channel, MalleoTrollin. Please go there to find them. Also, I was thinking of doing a complete Mario Kart Wii TAS (completing the entire game), but I need to know, would it be correct to TAS all the GPs and 50cc, 100cc and 150cc or just go into versus mode?
