This guy used the disable hand glitch, btw.

That guy invented the glitch as well. I wish he would've posted his speedrun though. All these times being thrown around just make me want to see a video of one of these records even more.

Luckily, I did post a 100% save file of this game a while back. Here you go.

it was my friends game, and his wii died, and I can't 'borrow' his game. also, how would I get a save file off the internet to a memory card?
I quit TASing.

There's homebrew programs which can do that.

You don't need to "hack" the Wii persay, just install something like the Homebrew Channel, and your Wii can read discs as well as homebrew programs.

You could also just copy the saves using the hacked wii, then take the memory card out, and put it in the other...

I couldn't find the run on SDA either. Ptorflaxendrosis, where did you post it?

So uhhhhhhh this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E-0KGnooY8 Idk what makes it happen, but every time it has happened I jumped, jumped again and used the bubble wand twice, I think it has something to do with how using the bubble wand a second time gives you a fair bit of downward speed. (I haven't been able to get it to happen on Dolphin yet, it took me roughly 30 minutes of attempts on system to get it to happen in that video, all I really know so far is that is that the frames you jump on don't seem to matter).

Just keep in mind, everyone, that this run is already really outdated, Jellyfish Fields, Downtown Bikini Bottom and Rock Bottom all have completely different routes now :P and sub 2 should be easily possible.

A couple of those tricks were just recently found by me and ptorflaxendrosis too lol I guess we all kinda think alike then it comes to breaking this game :P btw we finished re-routing this game, hopefully one of us can get the sub 2 with this (it really shouldn't be too hard with all the new tricks) Edit: also I've been messing around with the Bubble Bowl Boost on Dolphin for a little while, I'll be sure to post my findings over the next few days.

That's great! Is there a place to watch these being done live?

I'm going to start streaming runs here http://www.twitch.tv/itspersonnaltoo and unfortunately ptorflaxendrosis' internet isn't really good enough for him to stream :/ Oh and I broke Kelp Forest :P I'll have a video of the first method I found along with the newer, and much faster method I found a few hours later (I want to upload both because the first one is really funny :P) also this, lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxxyY1gUlRo Edit: might as well inform everyone that both ptorflaxendrosis and I cut the 2, he got 1:59:07 and I got 1:59:28. (both runs were awful, I can't say to much for his but in my run I lost over 2 minutes on the Robo-Spongebob battle alone <_<)

I got 1:51:45, turns out not having a memory card saves ~4 minutes lol. I think this can go much lower. also Coel and I came up with an idea to hopefully BBBJ in the first area of Goo Lagoon to the last then maybe do Goo Lagoon backwards, it might save time but Idk (I'll test today/tomorrow)

Here's this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpfQevx30W8 Kelp Forest backwards, discovered by itsPersonnal and I. Saves probably 3+ minutes...

Found this on stream it might save time in a TAS http://www.twitch.tv/itspersonnaltoo/c/1808710 Also found this a few minutes later, its consistent :) http://www.twitch.tv/itspersonnaltoo/c/1808717 it should be possible to not have to active that wall, but its much harder and not worth it non-TAS

Someone please find the position and speed addresses, Dolphins Cheats Manager is the only way I know how and it sucks <_< Edit: both these sets seem to work, but I can't manually set SpongeBobs position with them, so they aren't really any help to me <_< 003d78fc X/Z Position 003d7900 Vertical Position 003d7904 X/Z Position 003d79e4 X/Z Position 003d79e8 Vertical Position 003d79ec X/Z Position
