Link to video Maybe an idea for a good TAS. Here are some vital memory addresses: - 0xa100 the addresses could be (0=standing still, 1 = walking , 2=running by double tab cursor key in one direction) - 0xa6c1 x-position (location top of head) - 0xa6c2 x-position (location top of head) - 0xa130 invincibility timer when using the cross See ram_watch command on http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/commands.html for more information. the fastest way to get the speed boost while double tapping (example for going right)
frame 1: input right
frame 2: input none
frame 3: input none
frame 4: input none
frame 5: input right
address 0xa100 will jump to 6 then to 2 indicating you're in speed boost mode.

Holy load times, Batman! Looks a lot like Psychic World for the SMS, albeit with slightly different level layouts (and do you have all powers unlocked from the start?). Depending on how different it is it might be worth TASing.

I would like to see a complete TAS from Psycho World, it's "cousins" with one of my favorite Master System games.. +D This one has more levels, more musics, more bosses, more everything, in general =P

I finished world 1 : Link to video This is not a TAS but just a way to get a feel for this game. You can actually speed jump over the 1st waterfall in the game.... I didn't do that in this run.

I was about to say you were going too slow-paced, and climbing up that ladded at the beginning seems so unnecessary, but anyway, it's not a TAS route yet, right =P I'm looking forward for a longer WIP, and ... I don't really think this game needs a lot of powering-up, but it can be a matter of how long it will take to finish a boss, I guess.. +D

Link to video I've given up making a TAS... it's just too time consuming. I will be posting videos with what I believe is the shortest route (without glitch abuse)

Looks good! Shame about the minibosses, but the rest was quite nice.

The game is just a little less linear than I remember.... but it's not a reason to give up yet, I think.. +D C'mon, you haven't even glitch abused the game yet .. XD
