Okay, first off I've watched pretty much all of the movies on Bisqwit, Lezard, and Arc's websites. Awesome job guys. Have any of you considering doing SNES games? It seems like the list of fun NES games to do is becoming shorter and shorter. Now of course you guys could just keep improving on the ones you have until they are perfect. Now, it'll be a little boring watching Castlevania version 9.36 where you shave off a third of a second on the 4th boss. Know what I mean? Unless the game is something like Kung Fu where it's short enough to sit through, it will get old fast. I'm not at all complaining. I check these sites every day for something new to download. Now think about something like Mega Man X. That would be something fun to watch. There are lots and lots of SNES games to do. I don't know of ZSNES will work well for time attacks. Oh well, good job guys. I apperciate it.

There are lot of snes movies, not lot bout timeattacks tho. There are some "complete game" ZMV videos (Zsnes videos) on zophar.net (check for videos by Saturn, he did some rpg speedruns (with all secrets) for Crono Trigger, FFVI, Seiken Densetsu 3) And you can also find SmokeyX's Super metroid speed runs, they are realy impressive (zmv files on his site) and also Red Scarlet's various metroids speed runs on www.metroid2002.com (and on SDA's website)

SNES games are generally longer and I don't know of an emulator with rerecording. The only games I'd really want to see are Chrono Trigger and Super Metroid.

Yeah, I have all of those. The 58 minute Super Metroid game is sick. I've been through Crono Trigger and Seiken Densetsu 3. RPG's are too long to watch. Next time I feel like playing Crono Trigger, I'll just be lazy and watch it instead. :) Oh yeah, I want someone to hurry up and put a Friday the 13th time attack out already. An Adventures of Lolo game would be nice, but there are already movies up at Zohpar's. I hope someone can Fix The Adventures of Link/Famtasia Problem as well. I know I'd love to see it done. And a Duck Hunt time attack would look funny for the first few rounds. Seeing the ducks appear and and just drop instantly would be nice.

Well at least you can put the speed up toggled "on"while watching these videos. The lolo games rock. And yup, would be nice to get a Zelda 2 timeattack too.

I'm actually planning 'clean' time attacks on both Rockman X and Rockman X2. I'm pretty sure I can get 100% completion on both in well under an hour. X2 takes a bit longer.. or maybe it's just me being less familiar with it. But anyway, if it weren't for the registration process on Twin Galaxies asking for demographic information, I'd record videos of them being played off a real Super Famicom and submit a tape to claim the records for them. Once I have a free hour I'll make a zSNES movie of Rockman X.

I'm already making such a video, using the Japanese version, Link no Bouken. So far I've just reached Maze Island at 29 minutes 15 seconds, with about 90 seconds of load time that isn't in the US version (it's a FDS game). And that's not the best way - I could've shaved off about a minute if I'd been smarter about where I pick up keys. (for those unfamiliar with the game, Maze Island is the first location after reaching East Hyrule, which is approximately the halfway mark of the game. The world record for 100% completion is 1:36 or thereabouts, and this video seems able to finish under an hour.. I don't know any record for minimalist completion, but...)
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster. I support the new Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun.

Heh, i done alot of SNES games as well, but in a few, i died a few times, i do more full walkthrough and how to aqurire everything though. But, i do talk with with Mr. SAturn and we give each other idea of what to do and comments on what we missed in our videos and what vids we can do next. I have seen his video on Seiken Densetsu 3 and i must say, if you like watching rpg's played though, your gonna be amazed. This guy is soo accurate its insane. My videos, if they are rpg's, i usually spend time in certain areas leveling up to a certain level before i move on, so its a bit boring, but i usually dont stay in ne area long. You should check out my Illusion of Gaia vid i created, i think i did a pretty good job. I also did run with Earthbound*but i cheated the weapons and Armor, so it needs to be redone* Spike Mcfang, Breath of Fire 1, Breath of Fire 2, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia. If your interested in these videos, go to http://www.inside-gaming.com/~turbo/romvids.htm . My bud was nice enough to host these for me, although there isn't a page 2 yet so don't bother clicking on it yet. There is only 3 up so far and the descriptions are inaccurate, i will send him the other vids and descriptions when i have the time. I hope you enjoy these vids. Oh and unfortunatly, i wasnt able to set up the rom in the zip file with the .zmv, but i believe all the roms are the (U) version. EDIT: oops, forgot, you will need ZSNES.989c to run these vids. The newer versions, they have changed the compression of the videos and because of that, they tend to break after about 10 minutes. I mean like the char will do stuff you dont want, like walk into the walls randomly, attack mid air or do nothing. so you will not advance on in the game.
When scores are drawn, who will you die for?

Saturn's SD3 & CT videos was awesome, but I hated his FF3 video. As much as I respect him for taking the time to do it, I found it painful to watch as I found he did some non-effectives strategies, did too much menu twinkling (with relics) etc.. but then again I'm a nitpic :D

すばらしいですよ。がんばってください :) Your movie will make a base for further recordbreakers. The load time isn't bad. It's realistic. :)

I tried to do duck hunt just because I thought it would be funny, but it didn't work. For some reason it didn't record the gun shots, so I don't think its possible. Adventures of lolo would not be fun. It would just be like a regular walkthrough for the game. There is not much stratagy to it.,
