I'm starting this topic because someone NEEDS to do a run of it. Even though it's pretty unknown it's one of the best games for the psx. I recommend it to everyone! This game is very fast-paced and can get extremly hard, in short: perfectly for a TAS! Wikipedia: Silent Bomber is a 1999 arcade style action video game for the PlayStation, and the second game developed by CyberConnect2. Silent Bomber is based on the classic top down shoot'em up genre but with a twist: Instead of shooting the enemy, the player blows them up using bombs. In 2006 it was released for the PlayStation Network in Japan. Link to video

That game looks pretty cool. Any reason why you are not attempting it yourself since you seem to know the game quite well?

1. The last time i played it was about 4 or 5 years ago 2. I never beat it in realtime (lack of skill back then, maybe later?) 3. I suck at route-planning 4. this game is too long and i dont have that much time 5. Psx emulators and my pc dont come along all too good so see this as a request and maybe i inspire someone to go for this brilliant piece of software, who knows? And maybe i will ask my friend if he still owns it so i can finally beat it :-D

Link to video This is to show what a run of the game may look like. I had no idea what I was doing. There is potential for lots of lag. And it seems to hang forever at the score screen.

Oh I loved this game when I was younger! Never beat it without cheats back in the day either, but I've done it a couple of times semi-recently. Lots of movement potential and explosions will probably look awesome. But it is pretty laggy at times, and some segments may turn out pretty monotonous. I might give this a shot. REPOST-EDIT: Yeah... couldn't get the game to run at all. Maybe sometime later :P.
Even the best player is limited by the speed of his fingers, or his mind's ability to control them. But what happens when speed is not a factor, when theory becomes reality?

An all S Rank run will probably be the most entertaining.

Seems like the European version is the one to TAS, it's the only version that allows to ignore the tutorial. Here is a speedrun on Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/senvy/c/3315730 It shows off some pretty cool skips and explains how some of the tricks work.

Odd, all videos I've seen of the European version the tutorial have been an optional selection.
