So, in about a month, a major convention will be going down almost up the street from where I live. My question to you: Should I stay or should I go?

I don't mean it so literally, but it is a 20 minute drive.

There's that one Pony game that's trying to be like Ace Attorney. From what I've seen (which, admittedly, isn't much) it seems to be of pretty high quality, and built from the ground up with an MLP setting using the Ace Attorney series as a base for gameplay.
That would be My Little Investigations. http://www.equestriandreamers.com/

Actually I don't know what to answer. My first instinct was "of course! Why not?" But then I started thinking if I would go to a brony convention if one were organized here and... perhaps a bit to my surprise my first instinct was not "of course!" but doubt. Does the IRL brony community really interest me so much that I would go there? Would I feel second-hand embarrassment if some people are actually cosplaying there? Would there be anything there that would interest me, or would I simply get bored in 10 minutes? OTOH, if you don't go, you won't know if you'll find it interesting or not... What do you have to lose other than about an hour of your life and a bit of gas?

In Japan, Best Selection season 2 kicked off with The Return of Harmony and may wrap up with A Canterlot Wedding. I estimate that season 3 in Japan would begin September 30. Best Selection season 3 will probably be short based on how short season 3 is.

For those of you clamoring for a commercially released video game, maybe what we need to campaign for is a fully fleshed out Power Ponies title.

Nah, too simplistic for an AAA title. I still envision a full-fledged AAA MLP game that's similar in style and gameplay to Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. To see what I'm talking about, see this let'splay (starts from the actual gameplay): http://youtu.be/9ihWqj3t95A?t=3m50s The second part shows more of the gameplay inside the village (you might want to mute the sound because the player is incredibly annoying): http://youtu.be/3An55eMprHM?t=3m57s

The Japanese dub makes the ponies sound more adorable. The Korean dub does the same. The Japanese dub has cuts made, where the Korean dub leaves all the scenes in. Most of the songs were dubbed (excluding Winter Wrap-Up and Art of the Dress). I wonder what At The Gala sounds like in Korean.

Somehow Korean sounds a lot like Japanese. I mean, at some points I could swear it's Japanese (I know how it sounds, even though I don't understand the language, except for a half dozen individual words), but then it doesn't... It's strange. Link to video

Apparently you missed the part where I said, "fully fleshed out," AKA not a simple flash game.

I was referring to the game mechanics, rather than that particular implementation of it. That's not to say that that type of game mechanics couldn't be implemented as an AAA game. For example Beyond Good&Evil has sections that use this type of mechanic. However, I'm not sure this would translate well into a MLP game. (I really think that something like the Naruto game I mentioned above would be much more suitable.)

Okay, there is an understandable gap in communication here. I'm not saying, "Here's a Power Ponies game from The Hub, imagine taking this and releasing it as a full game." I'm saying, "It'd be neat if someone were to get licensed to make a pony game, and used it to make a Power Ponies title (and by the way, here's a flash game from The Hub that made me think this)."

Was watching some old episodes, and this struck me as... something, in hindsight. "Can I help? How about if I help clear out the clouds? ... Right, no wings..."

Been watching the series once again, and I'm noticing tiny tidbits that hadn't noticed before (doesn't that tell something about a TV series?), like in the previous post, and like: In Call of the Cutie Rainbow Dash says that she was the first in her class who got their cutie mark, and Applejack says that she was the last in her class. In The Cutie Mark Chronicles it's established that the getting of their cutie marks is linked (all of them got the final nudge because of a single event, ie. Dash's first sonic rainboom). It can be directly deduced that from all the main six ponies, Dash got her cutie mark first (she got it immediately when she made the sonic rainboom) and Applejack got hers last (she had to travel all the way from Manehattan to Ponyville after seeing the rainbow before she got her mark). The two things above probably aren't related, and it's probably coincidence (ie. the writers weren't explicitly thinking about this when they wrote the scripts), but I find it a curious tidbit. Another thing I noticed is a slight inconsistency: In Stare Master the CMC break Fluttershy's table, and try to fix it. They make a mess of it and deduce that carpentry is not their talent. However, immediately in the next episode (The Show Stoppers) it's heavily implied that building things is Apple Bloom's talent. While it might not be carpentry per se, it's pretty close, and she should have been at least somewhat capable. (One could argue that she was distracted by the other so much that she didn't get to show her talent in that instance. However, it still feels a bit inconsistent that she didn't say anything at all that showed competence.)

I think that's one of the only (if not the only) appearance of "filly Derpy". Otherwise they show Dinky

So, this past weekend, I went to Bronycon. No, no, I didn't attend. I stood outside to gawk and take pictures. Here's a sampling. Keep in mind these were taken on my cell phone, which doesn't have a very good camera, and it was pretty cloudy that day. Also, I wanted to be discreet, so it's mostly backshots you'll see. First, a little evidence that I was there. This and two other stickers attached to the sidewalk appeared to be the only markings at the convention center indicating what was going on inside. Well, aside from all the weirdos milling about. I caught a glance of the girl on the left just as I was pulling into the parking lot. That was perhaps the most stressful parking I ever had to do, because I had to pay for my parking, and I didn't want to loose track of her. As I was following her, I passed by a couple of women who seemed to be in their 40's with their phones in Sailor Fluttershy's direction. Yeah, they too were getting pictures of the "interesting sites." I'm a little sad the face got obscured by the glass. One fairly popular thing there was shoulder ponies. I meant to get a picture of the dude with Twilicorn on his head, but instead it turned into a generic group shot. There's another guy with a toy for a hat, but I forget which character it was. And by far the strangest thing I saw there was this guy. You can't see the front, so I'll have to let you know he had a short but thick beard, and the shirt was cut low enough so you could see that he had a very hairy chest. I can understand the zebra hat he had on but put on the ground when I took the shot, and I can get the zebra striped pants. But the broad heeled stilletos? Why? I'm pretty sure I don't want to know. And that's all I was able to get. I would've taken more, but there was no way I could've taken some while being discreet, plus I was only there for 20 minutes before I got called into work. Also, I saw a few while driving around. Other things I saw there: The first sight I had after pulling into town was a 15 year old girl with a bright pink wig, a black jacket, and pink leggings. Typical enough, but what made me laugh was her mother walking alongside her, with a look that expressed, "I can't believe I'm doing this." Some dude dressed as Discord, surpisingly close to how I imagined someone dressed as Discord would look like. I took a picture, but it didn't turn out. A guy in a ranger hat with a Pinkie Pie wig and tail sticking out from beneath his hat and coat, respectively. An overweight chick with a purple wig, white miniskirt, and purple fishnet stockings. At least Sailor Fluttershy was a good looking form of "thick"; this one had no business being in that outfit. What I presume was a dude - it was fairly ambiguous - in an outfit that closely resembled the Statue of Liberty, but the crown had a single horn on it, and the whole outfit was twilight purple in color. A fat white guy with a CMC cape and, of all things, a GIR beanie. An Asian kid in what was obviously an Octavia getup who carried a guitar around. I wish I had snapped a photo of him, or even better, a video of him playing. And a bunch of other people who clearly don't spend enough time outside. Overall, though, it didn't appear to be too bad. I might actually be fun if I attended with, say, my brother's family, all of whom are very into the show.
