Amaraticando, both issues fixed. These functions are all a big clusterfuck. I changed the documentation to more precisely describe what they do, but with the introduction of the padding modes, it should be insanely hard and confusing to figure out what's going on and how to use those functions to get what you want, since it wasn't all thought out from the beginning with a clear plan. Sorry about that, but I'm not sure how I feel about revising them all right now. Keep trying to forge ahead and find bugs so at least we're not confused by those too.

Nothing major, but I noticed a few updates ago the option to hide the mouse cursor while in full screen was added, but it still doesn't quite work like it should. Now I don't know if this is something that's impossible to fix completely, but whenever I take a screenshot or save/load a state, the cursor appears on the screen for a second or so. I don't know if it's related to having messages/captions popping up in the screen, because when I perform other actions that don't show any messages (such as rewinding), the mouse cursor does not appear.

Doesnt happen for me. Essentially the only thing that the code says should make the mouse cursor appear is moving or clicking the mouse.

Hmm, maybe it's because the directory had an older version before. I'd rather bear that than deleting the config and starting fresh. I don't want to reconfigure everything again :P

Sorry for the double post, but I can't edit the previous one(By the way, did I do something wrong? I see some stuff have been removed?)) I tried to open GBA game just now, and it said exactly this: "You are missing the needed firmware files to load this Rom Would you like to open the formware manager and configure your firmwares? Yes-No" I proceed to click yes, intrigued. Apparently, I'm missing a bunch of firmware. If I understand well, I could scan, group, or organize, but I'm not sure if I should have to do that after a fresh install, nor what I should do to fix that. I've posted this here, since I think I shouldn't have some missing firmware.(Note that the NES, GBC and the N64 works) By the way, for the previous message, I forgot to note that I did change the profile: I went from TAS profile to casual profile during the "intermission".

You should go find the firmwares. NES, GBC, N64 don't require firmware. Thus, they work.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a firmware?

Ooooh okay, thank you for the answer. I suggest you include a word of two concerning that in a read me somewhere in the Bizhawk folder or even in the firmware folder.

No, it's common sense. Dozens of people every day completely new to emulation are able to piece it together from clues that are already there. Other people, when confronted by software asking for "X", need to be told every time to google "X"

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/26493755624124269 Playing back this movie on BizHawk 1.11.3 consistently crashes for me. Rom used was "Monster House (USA) (En,Fr).gba" and the core was VBA-Next

Sorry, took a while since I couldn't reuse the savestate. On mgba, the game simply screeches, and then the game itself crashes while the emulator doesn't http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/26494148216496683

Glitchy games may always crash emulators without causing surprise to the user, although a high quality emulator should never crash. In this case it crashes at PC=0x99000000 where the emulator has made an elementary error by failing to setup the memory map at such a high address, beyond 0x0FFFFFFF. There are even low address ranges without a memory map setup. In my opinion, that makes it fundamentally unsound for radically glitching games. We could probably fix that in a few minutes by applying kindergarten level emulator programming knowledge, but it does not bode well for other deeper areas of VBA. If it doesn't crash the VBA you use for rerecording, then maybe it's had those bugs fixed, or maybe it's just a difference in compiling (the latter seems doubtful). Having seen this, I would not trust anything but mGBA for running glitches such as this. Although at the moment I can't recommend mGBA for general use in bizhawk as it is prone to crashing when closing the core instance for a reason related to its general reliability in this aforementioned department.

Also, the fact that the mGBA core is outdated. BizHawk is running 0.2.0 it's now at 0.3.1 so there is a possibility that the issue you're having may have been fixed.

I was curious about that. How did you check which version is used?

Go to "Help", then "abou"t. You should find it there.

When I use "record AVI/WAV" I get an unhandled exception and it doesn't export. I had this issue on other computers also running Windows 7. Is this a known issue?

For the GBA game monster house, a number of addresses end up in this location
Domain IWRAM
SystemID GBA
2E630	d	u	0	EWRAM
2E534	d	u	0	EWRAM
2FF48	d	u	0	EWRAM
2F120	d	u	0	EWRAM
2F740	d	u	0	EWRAM
2FDE8	d	u	0	EWRAM
However, attempting to change said addresses on the watch list ends up like this: Can the 4 character limit be lengthened or removed? Currently I have to use notepad to change both the addresses if I want to add another one manually and change the memory region.

No, it cannot. IWRAM is 32KB. Your list has a header IWRAM and then individual entries EWRAM. You want to enter 5 digits, then youre entering EWRAM addresses.
