I am totally unfamiliar with some of the technique names you just gave. :( Anyway, it still seems like there's plenty of work to do for now. Which is nice. :)

~~の術 is a hit-all Ninja technique of one of four elements that does damage of about 2/3 of breaking a rod (~1000 damage to a weakness) but costs 200 gil instead of 700. And Ninja are faster than Mages. !Hanatsu + Sandbear deals approx. 2500 physical damage per use, but I need to find a Sandbear to use it so it might not be the best method (though catching them for easy early-2nd-world boss fights would be nice).

Those Ninja Techniques will prove useful in the four crystal fight. But that's moving ahead on schedule. :p

Oh? They're not Heavy so I can just use Death Claw. Besides, they are all immune to lightning, one absorbs fire, one absorbs water, and one absorbs earth.

That's right, but how does Death Claw work? I've never used it. You need to beat all four crystals at the same time, though (Gil throw?) EDIT: Or at least somewhat at the same time.

Death Claw leaves the affected enemy with single-digit HP and paralysis. He could then attack all with regular attacks or a multiple non-elemental attack to win.

Just curious, have any of you read my FFV LLG FAQ at gamefaqs? Do you guys have strats for every boss? I really want to see this video, but what would display, just the Boss Battles?

You mean this one? http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/file/final_fantasy_v_low_level_a.txt Seems pretty useful. :) If you want to see the video, then go back one or two pages: a link has already been posted. It's not an AVI, though, but a SNES9X movie file for the Japanese ROM version. And everything is shown; the game from start to end, including dashing through towns with the thief job. :) The ending will also be included.

Yep, that one ^.^ I haven't finished up the whole FAQ, but the strats are done & good IMO (Unless you consider abusing of bugs as a cheat :p). Since I only have the patched version, it will take me some time to get the original version so then I could see the movie, but I'll look for it right away

In the room where you're going to fight the Wing Raptor (the 1st boss), you don't have to round all the way to the left door, because there's a hidden path that cuts time... BTW, does double posting annoys people here? Should I edit my posts to avoid this?

Especially if it is the same post, yes it is annoying.

I know that the first random battles are to gain exp to kill faster Siren, but why need to fight before entering the North Mountain? If it's because you need AP, you can fight a Galura at the beach next to the Town of Carwen... Does the video aims for a level 6/7 or 2/3? Because it looks more like a fast video than a LLG one...

Tales of Phantasia was about 4.5 hours when timeattacked. This isn't going to be much different.

I expect 4 hours, actually, since a speedrun of 5 hours is possible.

I think it's on the second page of the ToP thread in this forum.

Yes, and samurai goroh, remember that LLGs are almost always a good ways off from the fastest possible run because even though leveling up takes time, you have to use other time-spending compromises if you don't gain levels.

Boco's really well-known with this game, so I trust that he'll find THE FASTEST way to finish it. I believe that the low-level one is, myself.
