I think this game would be fun to beat. It used to be very irritating doing the challenges and Quidditch matches. Here's a small demo I made of Flying Practice: http://youtu.be/d-JC_K5FX4g I don't think there are any game-breaking glitches (or any useful glitches whatsoever), but in the Expelliarmus Challenge Chamber I was able to skip the spinning spiked balls while they were moving.

I completed my TAS for this game today in 2:19:07.82, which could go even lower. I'll add more when I dump, render, and upload everything.

It's going to take a few days unfortunately, to finish the entire process. But it's coming soon! EDIT: OK, so I finished dumping both audio and video for the entire TAS and I've ran into a few problems. First, in Sony Vegas, some sections of the video glitch out and shows rainbow colors across the screen and I don't know how to get rid of it, because the actual frame dump doesn't show that. Then, the audio and video don't sync up properly for some reason (I'm using 4.0-4167, so it should automatically sync correctly). I wouldn't mind dumping the audio again if there is a way to fix that, but I don't think there is. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I typically just use windows movie maker to combine the files together. I don't know what operating system you are using and I also know nothing about Sony Vegas.

The only way I know right now to videodump gamecube and wii games is using a linux machine.

It's alright, I managed to work through most of it. The render should be finished by tomorrow, then I'll start uploading to YouTube which shouldn't take as long.

Link to video Here is the video! Please excuse the terrible desync between the audio and video. I don't think there's anything I could do to fix it. Also sorry for the missing video during the end fight with the basilisk. I have no idea what happened.

Once you submit it, one of the encoders can use their linux machine that'll fix audio syncing

I didn't plan on submitting though :/ there's a cutscene skip near the beginning of the run that I didn't use that saves a lot of time (1-2 minutes I think). It wasn't discovered until later on, when I was way past that point. EDIT: I made the video unlisted just because there are so many issues with it and it doesn't look good at all.

You can try submitting. You never know what could happen.

TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

I haven't found any glitchess yet, but i found a cutscene you can skip. When you're going down to the flying lesson, there is a cutscene with sir nicholas on the staircase between the third and second floor, not sure how long it is, but if you go to the door on the left on the third floor, there is a secret passage down to the second floor, and by going there you skip that cutscene

Really cool TAS! Have you thought about doing 100% at some point? I also really wanna see if there's any difference between NTSC-U and NTSC-J.
