I didn't say what I said because I think Zoizite is a girl. I didn't even consider it. What does an avatar mean? The movie is good. On a long movie like that, small errors can be easily overlooked when the overall product is fun. I didn't see anything "wrong" like Arc did, but that's because Arc has played this game a lot more than I have. Can the movie be improved? Absolutely yes. Is it good enough to be published now? Absolutely yes.

Small errors yes, but it is a very entertaining run. Facing the screen when picking up items, morphing into a ball and bouncing over enemies, it's not just walking from point A to point B.

Good stuff. Although I find the overly use of "OMG I PRAISE YOU WITH MY SALVATION!!!!" "SHITSHITSHIT OMG YOU RULE" and other crap from the guys around here annoying. I bet you'd stay calmer if a guy would submit it -- haven't you ever seen a girl being good at games before or something?
Thanks for the sexist comment. We appreciate it. Did you see people go this crazy when Boco submitted her run? No. It just happens that Metroid is a great game, and this is a great run.

The run is really good (the part I can see). The fmv seems to screw up right after you get out of Norfair and get back to Brinstar on your way to Kraid's Lair. It de-synchs or something, I dunno. Do you suppose the rom I have is bad?

I report a successful viewing throughout. A question, though; apparently, the game only displays six Energy Tank blocks when more can be picked up. Do the values stop at six, or can your energy be refilled by one of the "hidden" tanks? Thank you.

Check the thread at http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1174 I think they talked about it there. How ever, I had no problem watching the run with my emulator and rom so.. :)

You can only have 6 tanks. But the other one(s) refill your energy to max if you have lost any.

It's really well-done. Well, except for certain parts (like ALL OF Supers and a great deal of Stars). But I have the first two seasons on DVD and the last three on VHS, and I have DVD and VHS both for the movies and OVAs. I also have half of the manga (every volume in which Hotachan appears) and I'm going to pick up the other half and Sailor V soonish.. and I have one of the 6 (7?) artbooks. I don't own any Seramyu or any of the live-action series yet (still looking for a good price on DVDs for the live-action.. but I think the Seramyu will just get harder and ahrder to find from here ;_; )

Yeah, I only have season 1 right now, but I will probably get some more. I haven't heard much of the manga. Is it good? Is it the same story as the series? And I don't think I will get the live-action. Not a big fan of it in general.

The live-action series is a lot closer to the manga, from the little of it I've seen (about 5 eps or so). Anyway, the anime is pretty much completely unlike the manga.. they have the same basic story (gods and goddesses are incarnated when they are needed to fight or perform some other task) and the same 5-season story arcs (Dark Kingdom, Nemesis, Death Busters, Doom Circus, Shadow Galactica) and even most of the same characters (at least, by names). But they're really very different. Takeuchi-sensei got really, really pissed off at Toei for all the changes, mostly in the last two seasons (the anime's Supers arc is completely unlike and bears no resemblance to the manga's volumes 12-15, and much of the storyline for the last story arc, Stars, was changed from the oriignal volumes 16-18). And because of that, and because of the contract she'd signed with them, she sat on the work and refused to continue it until their liscense expired. Now it has, and now we have the live-action series, which is her restarting everything and being closer to the original vision. The anime's still good, but it's a pale shadow of the real work.. which is the manga + the Seramyu.

Haha, once I found a video of the opening to a live-action Sailor Moon series that Saban was going to make.

Oh god. I was hoping to never hear of Saban Moon again. (I have the video if people want me to post it online somewhere.. it's horrible).

There is actually a longer version out there than most people link to--apparently, the promo was screened as part of a convention with an intro and questions after the piece is shown. I've lost track of where the longer version is, but the shortened one cuts out right after the promo ends and the audience starts groaning. Edit: I guess it's not lost anymore. Just do a "Find" and type in "The Saban Nightmare" if you want to save time from scrolling--although it's a pretty comprehensive list.

YECH. I don't even like Sailor Moon and that made me cry. Is there a more loathsome practice in the entertainment business than "localization?"

1. Will the A/V desync in Zoizite's movie be fixed? If not then why not? 2. I've found a way to make my movie faster using the door glitch. (Earlier I didn't see any plausible way that was faster.) *Spider-Waffle cheers*

Eventually yes. But for a while I'll wait for an automatical reason (improved movie) to do that.
