There's one user on the forum who has an avatar image hosted on rphaven.org; Google has decided that it doesn't like this site, and as a result any thread that this user has posted in will, when opened in Chrome, instead display a big red warning page. Now I know that a simple GIF image probably won't contain a nasty evil virus :) Still, perhaps the easiest solution would be to ask this user to simply move his avatar to any of the hundreds of image hosting sites on the net?

I'm currently investigating what to do.

Tell Google to implement a "STOP PROTECTING ME" function? Or a "I trust this domain/site" function? Cause as much as I love Chrome, sometimes it really is farking annoying.

Google should really just learn that if trusted site A has a teensy bit of content from non-trusted site B, it suffices to just block that contect. I mean, I can live with one avatar not being shown.

So is the goal of this topic to: 1) Raise an issue with Chrome on their tracker 2) Fix something tasvideos server side to make it so avatars from sites chrome warns you about are automagically fixed (either by copying or removing)? 3) Encourage this user to change their avatar ? :)

Could someone give me an example of a page on tasvideos.org for which Google Chrome gives the malware warning? I've tried going over pages on tasvideos.org with embeds from rphaven.org, but I don't get the warning.

Hm. I only get the warning if I try to visit rphaven.org (such as, view the avatar in its own window or something). If I merely look at the tasvideos.org page with the rphaven.org embed, I don't get a warning. Which version of Google Chrome are you using? I'm using "Version 32.0.1700.107 m". Edit: Never mind. I do get the warning now. Edit 2: Also, there are at least two users with avatars from rphaven.org.

I have de-embedded all images from rphaven.org in posts. I have also removed the avatars of the two users who use images from rphaven.org, and sent PMs. Please post here if there are any other problems with Google Chrome giving malware warnings.

You want rphaven.org on avatar blocklist (yes, there is one, prevents adding new avatars from there)?
