Movie's infomation

Emulator: Snes9x-1.43-Win32-WIP1
  • Took hit for speed.
  • Clear time is 00:27
  • Rate for collecting items is 24%
  • Improved not only 'Speed'. (Shooted enemies more)
This movie is faster than the old one, by maybe about 80 seconds (inside of the game-time, not 'Length'). 'Movie length' is not short, because I opened the 'equipment menu' more than in the old version.

Notes

This is my 5th movie of Super Metroid of 'Any% timeattack' (except for the '14%' version). I tried to throw away preconceptions. I tested many cases, many patterns, again and again...
And now, I think "clear time 00:26" is impossibility... Thanks for all people who advised me something! Lastly, I really hope that you can enjoy this movie!
If you have a question, please write in easy English.(^_^;)

Yes, thanks for good explanation. and thanks for "スゲ"!
[1] Why did you turn off Hi-Jump Boots? [2] Why did you turn off some beams before boss battles? [3] What happened after you defeated Draygon? Samus turned blue?
[1]If I didn't turn off it, I(Samus) hit she's head at ceiling(roof). [2]Which boss did you mean...? Phantoon - I wanted to hit charge-beam to his all-blue-fires. If I use Wave-Spazer-Charge, I can't hit all-blue-fires, (I'm not sure.) in 2nd-turn and 3rd-turn. Botwoon - I wanted to use ...'Wave-Powerbomb-Beam'(I don't know this name). (MotherBrain - It is a glitch called 'Murder-Beam'.) [3](Edited) I want to explain , but it is difficult... "blue-suit" or "draygon-suit" is this glitch's name,perhaps... :Tried to explain When Samus defeat Draygon, she boost and attack Draygon,(and Draygon dead)then,Samus will become ...special status. She can boost anywhere. (But she can't dash.) If she dashes, the special status will be gone.(She become normal status.) Sorry, May I ask anyone to explain this glitch? (Edit) I noticed that "Dush" is wrong... "Dash" is correct, sorry.

There is no need too.. you did it quite well yourself ^^ Nice to see you showing off some more glitches here and there.. like the blue-suit glitch. It was quite usefull when you left the area. Nice done. :) I would really see a 100% run from you. It has to be a Japanese to make something this wonderful. I tried to do one by myself.. but I cancelled it and now I dont have the time, Im to busy with Tales of Symphonia =) Great.

Nice :) Questions: - in v2 you got 3 E tanks. in this you get 4, but you do not need 4 ? - at the second heat room (around frame count 49000), you wait for a life pickup from a killed enemy? - around frame 114000 you get energy refill, do you need it? If you do, you have just been in menu and done weapon changes (remove ice beam), could you have done that while refilling energy instead? Otherwise, yet another nice job! :D

Great run as usual. It was a nice suprise to come home to after a day at work! ^_^ There needs to be a Very Yes vote option for this run.
If for honesty, you want apologies, I don't sympathize.

When I say "Meh," I mean "whatever" or "nothing special." I am assuming Bisqwit has a similar definition in mind, so voters may say "I don't particularly care about this movie." By the way, Bisqwit, if you're reading this, I suggest using a capture of Samus' Shine Sparking attack on Draygon to represent this movie. Teri-kun, thank you for answering my questions. I understand now. どこに住んでいる?東京?大阪?何歳だ? [Where do you live? Tokyo? Osaka? How old are you?]

Hmm... I actually meant "I can't decide - neither 'yes' or 'no'".

You can always not vote. This shows that though the run is quite promising, there are perhaps a few things they are not satisfied with.

I reviewed the Zanac movie, and I couldn't decide. But I wanted to express this opinion. There's now also a field "confidence" in the submission list which is affected by the "meh"-votes.

I believe so. Killing him with a Shine Spark was awesome, and I wasn't even expecting a glitch to happen. Back in my day I always killed him by using the grappling beam. These movies show lots of exciting, new ways to murder. ^_^

I had merely noticed the save slot was present so a savestate had been used. There was nothing wrong with it regarding the finished product. Sorry to cause any confusion!

Terimakasih (and others interested in the glitch): >Sorry, May I ask anyone to explain this glitch? When you have full speed you begin to flash and become partially invincible, and you can perform a ram move. Usually, when you hit a wall or slow down this status disappear. If you ram Draygon while in this status and he dies, Samus stops but the game forgets to set her status back to not-flashing speed, because she never hits a wall. Samus will now continue to flash until you ram again or run. In this run, this is used to fly trough an area where you normally can not get enough speed to go into flashing mode. More info available at the Glitch FAQ for Super Metroid over at GameFAQs, if you're interested. >Another Words : I wonder that why you think so. I just think it is very impressive that you can make videos of high quality in very short time. Bladegash: >I had merely noticed the save slot was present so a savestate had been used. "Save slot present" does not necessarily mean "played from save state". An SMV can also start from SRAM, which could include a save slot even when the game is played from reset. I don't know if this movie runs from SRAM or from savestate, though. Some hexing hacker can probably tell us. More info: http://tasvideos.org/SMV.html

Thank you , but I can't make a 100% run,for a while. In this run, I'll go mad ,almost. Because, "The things which I must think" was a lot. (I think that you can understand my meaning...) route, item-luck,best-Life,best-items-stock,glitch,defeatable(can defeat) enemies, what I choice, where I change my wepons, and more(too many...) So, Sorry but I don't want to make a 100%-Run.(^_^;) If I make a 100% in same-pace, I'll be a Real-Crazy man,surely...(not joke.)

No, I waited for a SuperMissile.(not Life.) >- around frame 114000 you get energy refill, do you need it? When I arrived refill-room , My life is 153. If I didn't refill-energy, I couldn't go "Twins-Zebes-Man".(I don't know his name.) Two enemies whose body-color are,,, dark-green and change-gold. Near the Ridley's room. 3rooms before Ridley. >(remove ice beam), could you have done that while refilling energy instead? No,I couldn't. Because, If I remove Ice-Beam then, I couldn't defeat some emenies.

I have not understood 'Meh', like Mr.Frenom.(^_^;) Because, some dictionarys don't have this word. (Of cource, Now I can understand 'Meh'.)
-kun?? :o
'kun' means ... like "Mr.", I think. In Kanji, 'kun' is '君'. It means friendly or familiar.(^_^) By the way, could you know who is 'Draygon'...? If you can't know still now, please see this. http://type.s31.xrea.com/info/logimg/metroid/Draygon.jpg (Oh, I must notice Mr.TNSe's capture, before I made this.(^_^;)

Ok, thanks. I promise, I didn't any cheat, any "bad-savestate" in this movie. (of cource, except for slow-down,re-record,continuous-shoot,show-frame) I used 'Cheat' menu of Snes9x, but it is just to know my present game-time. I have a pride. It is maybe a little pride.(^_^;) But, pride is pride... If someone can verify, please verify this movie...

OK, I wait for some 'hexing hacker' man. >http://tasvideos.org/SMV.html I think that it is hard to understand this page, for some people.(^_^;) I can't understand this page, eigher. (I could read this, but I have no knowledge of "File-Format".) :other By the way, what is "influence" or "effect", by exsisting a save slot? Why did say "it was slow-dosn".? I think Bisquit was surprised that feitclub would be so familiar with you and speak so plainly.

It was a wrong guess. There is no slowdown (that I know) from having existing savedata. By the way, you really are an amazing artist! It's very hard to make videos of this quality, much less this quickly.
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster. I support the new Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun.

I see, thank you! (and, some people teach me about "Mr." , in other thread.) Hmm, I think that it is "difference of cultule". In Japan, "to omit titles from names" is bad-manners. But, in Western countries, "to omit titles from names" is not bad-manners. So, I have been added "Mr." to everyone.(^_^;) Adding "-kun" is ,yes, it is familiar, but not bad-manners, in this case.(^_^) Friendly-conduct makes me happy.

Thank you, I'm feeling easy, now.

Thanks a lot.(^_^;) Hm, but in this time, I have been making slowly,I think... I started to make this movie, when,,,about Jecy gave me his great-Ceres-Stasion-Record-Movie.(In SuperMetroid-Thread, his record is 47'29)

:Explanation of 'BlueSuit'. I could find GameFAQs-web-site, and samus.co.uk-web-site. These description not coincidence my blue-suit-glitch. I don't need Draygon's puffer or gunk. I can Boost without puffer or gunk. And I can Boost , not from the end of wall. In GameFAQs-web-site,this glitch descrive in here. >Super Metroid -> In-Depth FAQs -> Glitch FAQ >VI. Great work Terimakasih! How on earth do you have the time to make these runs in such short time!? And you wanna know something? I think 26 minutes is possible ;)

Firstly, it's Bisqwit. I admit I was a little bold in using "-kun," but when I typed "Teri-san," it didn't look right. Judging by Teri-kun's response, I feel my choice worked out. Although, he didn't answer my question: どこに住んでいる?東京?大阪?何歳だ?
