Some female pixels were kidnapped, as always. Hugo wants his pixels back. It is absurd.

Compared to the GB version of Hugo 2, the GBC version has one extra level. I guess that's why the the game is called Hugo 2.5 or Hugo 2½. It is absurd.
There are six levels. Four of them are autoscrollers.
Level 1: Snowboarding
When fighting the snowmen, the crosshair jitters randomly, so understanding the RNG might save about 10 frames in this level.
Level 2: Swimming
Avoid the crabs and the the fish. Don't run out of oxygen.
Level 3: Pillar cave
Hugo needs to collect three items to be able to open a door that is locked with three locks. The items spawn at regular intervals, but on random locations. The last item should be manipulated to spawn near the exit. Nothing else matters.
I got the second best spot.
This should be relatively easy to improve even with common taser patience, which I lack at the moment.
Level 4: Flying
Basic autoscroller. This level is absent in the the GB version.
Level 5: Forest
Walking autoscroller. Avoid bear traps, rolling stones and aggressive tree branches. Hugo stares at you while walking. It is absurd.
Level 6: Trap room
The floor is made of tiles. When the boss zaps a tile, the tile becomes deadly. The challenge is to manipulate the the trap layout so that no unnecessary moves are required. It becomes a bit complicated, because the upcoming section needs to be manipulated too. The final challenge is a door with 8 possible keys. Hugo is given five seconds to memorize the the shape of the lock and then he needs to choose the correct key. 2 frames could be saved by having the correct key at the initial cursor location.
Oh, I collected two extra lives. This means that some time is lost due to score countdown at the the end of the game.
I'm not sure whether I should submit this or not. I was going to make a little better run, but the game turned out to require too many tiny RNG manipulations for my taste. Even the order of levels is randomized, which makes perfect luck manipulation rather tricky. Do whatever you want with this.
