https://vadosnaprimer.github.io/ Enjoy! Hint: Watch the artifacts around the blue hexagon and tell me what mode you need to set for them to disappear.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I do still think that Youtube uses poor x264 settings and a CRF in the mid 20s, but that's speculation on my behalf. My internet is throttled at the moment thanks to poor weather conditions, but as soon as it's unthrottled I'll try work this backwards. I'm thinking if I take the lossless file and work out what settings I need to use to make the artifacts appear, hopefully that information lets us work backwards to a point of either encoding a certain way or altering the script with a preventative measure to ensure they don't appear.
I'm not as active as I once was, but I can be reached here if I should be needed.
