Rescue Shot is an unconventional shooter game by Namco, got infamous in Italy because in was illegally sold as a fake PSX Pokémon game. The story revolves around Bo, an anthropomorphous bunny which travels in order to gather the so called Dream Fragments and get back his memories. In my opinion, this is a low budget developed game which accidentally got way better than what predicted, expecially about the musics.
The gameplay consists in protecting him aganist any possible danger by shooting to enemies, objects and influencing his movements by shooting directly at him.
The game is sort of arcade stage-based, with few alternative routes.
I decided to pick the Japanese version of the game (Rescue Shot Bubibo) because the only other version is European. In order to achieve the fastest game completion time possible, it is necessary to exploit the ability to force Bo to jump forward, by shooting at his lower back as often as possible. In the meantime, I try to get as many Dream Fragments as possible, kill as many enemies as possible, and get as much score as possible.
Here is my first WIP encode:

"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself.
It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the
kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional
functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success."
