Since a few recent releases, I can't find the Sprite Limit option in Bizhawk menu anymore. Where did it go? Is sprite limit enabled by default and can't be disabled now?

Not sure exactly what you are reffering to, but I'm guessing NES->Graphics Settings->allow more then 8 sprites per scanline is what you want. If not you'll need to be more specific. If you mean for game gear games, its SMS->Sprite Limit

I meant every emulated platfrom with sprite limit option that is not immediately visible in any of the sections of main menu. So, NES too. Platforms like Master System or PC Engine shouldn't be mentioned because I can easily see where to toggle sprite limit. I was wondering about Game Boy, SNES and Genesis. Maybe they didn't even have sprite limit toggle to begin with, and if so, I wish they did.

Both NES cores have sprite limit settings in the "Graphics Settings" menu item off of the system ("NES") menu. Every other core that we've built a sprite limit option for has that option exposed somewhere on the system menu, either directly or within a reasonably obvious dialog option. Hanging everything directly off the main menu is a silly request - we have too many things to put them all there, and what's most important to you isn't most important to someone else. If there's some specific core that doesn't have a sprite limit option that you'd like one on, we might be able to add it depending on how the core is coded.
