Hi, while talking in the IRC I noticed that there are many possible interpretations of nitsuja's avatar. A long time I though it being a huge dragon head (the mouth being to the left), but now i see that it's some guy sliding on something (water? dust?). Well here's what we've seen so far:
  • That dragon thingie
  • A ninja riding on a dolphin (Bisqwit)
  • A ninja with a big Sword (Walker Boh)
  • The guy from Terranigma (Zer0)

Oh, it looks so much more obvious when you blow it up. I used to see it as some sort of dolphin thing, and the bright gash was its underbelly. See, this is why you need to raise the avatar size limit. Well, maybe not a dolphin... More like a manta ray, I guess. But with a blue crown.

Well when he is sliding you don't actually see his stick... Here is him poking with the first spear in the game. Which is blue. And here he is sliding.

At first I thought it was a vehicle of some sort, almost like Johnny Whatever in Chrono Trigger's vehicle form. I asked, he said it was the Terranigma guy sliding. But then, I thought that the blue sword was actually sparks formed by the slide. I don't like thinking of it as a sword, those sparks were cool.

You know what I really, REALLY thought it was before I saw it zoomed in? A semi-recolored Vic Viper. But forget Nitsuja, I'm more curious about what Lolo is holding in Bag of Magic Food's avatar.

They look like golden rings to me, but I don't remember golden rings being in any Lolo game. I think maybe that's what the Magic Egger Shots are supposed to look like in reality.

I'm not arguing; on other message boards I've been to, I've seen people with recolored sprites in their profile to represent created characters that look like, or similar to, the sprite in question. I'm just wondering if that was the reason nitsuja chose his image.

Yeah, some guy on pocketheaven had the same idea. It was ripped from a flash animation that was going around, with sound effects too. :)
