I tried to make a AVI file about the game. It contains bad quality (less than 240p) because I chose Microsoft Video 1. The compression quality was 75 or 0. The ways I questioned is how to reduce storage of the video? How to make the AVI in good quality?
Planned runs: Marble Madness (Arcade, Genesis J, GG/SMS) Proposed: Ecco the Dolphin (Genesis, GG/SMS, CD: regular, camera freeze) Ecco: The Tides of Time (Genesis, GG/SMS, CD; normal mode) Mario Kart DS (all cups, all missions) In progress: Grand Poo World 3 (all exits hard mode)

AVI doesn't have bad quality when you don't know what you're doing. You're dumping at native res. Did you know? That BizHawk actually features a set resolution option for dumping when you go File > AVI/WAV > Config and Record AVI/WAV. You see that "Resize Video" here's a suggestion. Use it. 640x480, 960x720, 1440x1080. Now for video. Don't select AVI Writer, select FFmpeg Writer and save it as an MP4. This simplifies the user end side that doesn't deal with the encoder's method. You obviously didn't know if you didn't actually look around and jumped straight to a conclusion cause you don't know how to use the product.

Here is what happened: this video is very unclear or has bad quality (Microsoft Video 1 with 0 compression quality): https://drive.google.com/file/d/13ljs7Dddo-gxA4dU2WHn2rTlMtEc1LzH

Don't use Microsoft codecs. Chances are they're 20 years old.

Config and Record video -> Matroska Loseless -> Resize video ✓ -> 1440x1080 -> OK.
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

I just put it in a 640x480 MP4 video into YouTube, but the only choice on a YouTube video that I put as an MP4 was 144p and 240p.

At full speed, the FPS slowed down on any higher quality videos I record. However, MOV files are more better.

Maybe it needs more processing time?

AVI, MKV, MOV, MP4 etc. are file formats (like ZIP files with no compression), not compression formats like h.264, HuffYuv or Lagarith.
