As in, lag related desyncs. Like I heard that the reason metroid prime gamecube desynced was because eventually the emulator created lag while playing back a movie. Or those keyboard invoked tases like Tyler from mugg where buying a high end pc would prevent desyncs? Or steamworld dig 2 linux movie wouldnt need pauses because it would load faster?

I don't think so. Every emulator works exactly the same way regardless of how strong your PC is. I'd recommend buying a high-end keyboard to make this dam machine read more input if you're not familiar with TAS input.
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

If an emulator can desync due to timing differences, it can desync regardless of how fast your computer is. Having a faster computer doesn't really help with anything other than simply running games faster.

For the record, Dolphin did create desyncs in SSBM on a very rare occasion for me, but I'm still on 4.0-9215 so things may have changed. It's got nothing to do with PC specs, I think.
