Unless it's radically different from the published 2 player version, I don't think I'll publish it. Or I add it as a note only. That's still an option for Genisto's version too (I haven't even watched it yet - too much other things going on).

Hm, am I blind or did this speedrun accidentally get deleted when Chip & Dale 2 was added?

I did a 1 player timeattack of this game 20 sec faster than Genistos current 1-player run but I discovered a mistake of me done early in the game (Zone B - closing the water pipes) which would save me about 44-46 frames so I decided to hex edit the improved part in the movie since everything afterwards was absolutely perfect and at the limit. The problem is the movie desyncs because of moving randomness of Chip in some frames so I have to edit the whole movie step by step. I'm now at zone F and hope that I can finish the editing tomorow. The final time I reached is 10:01 and I ensure that its definitely not possible to beat the game in less than 10 min at least in a 1-player run. My movie is a matter of 1-2 frames tolerance (because of Lag sometimes). Even after editing the improved part I still can't reach 10:00 min. EDIT: Argh.... I don't care anymore. Editing is too complicated. I will submit the unchanged movie now.

Why hasn't anyone made 100% run of Chip 'n Dale? And by 100% I mean All-Levels run. It would be nice change and a good idea to revive this game once again. It has been soo long since I have sawn those other levels so I guess I have to play them (just normally without recording/TASing etc.) to remind me of old good times. :)
Which run should I encode next? :)

Mkay, I started an all-zones 2players run. First zone done 80 frames faster than Genisto's. I mysteriously lost a frame in bossfight though. Anyways, it's here if anyone is interested.

Thinking of doing this game, well actually I am doing it, it looks to be a good start for 2 games played with 1 input.

Do a 2-player run. Now that would be impressive.

I have taken 2 players no damage entertaining run for this two NES games for fun. I don't think it's a good idea to improve dragonxyk's run except that new glitch discovered. Now that you decide playing 2 games in one input,it's hard work, though holding right is actually widely.
Do the work.

Oh wow, two 2-player games at once sounds even more crazy than 9000 1-player games at once!
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Not so crazy I think,It's easier than 4 1-player games at once. I've seen the SMB quad run,now that one is avaliable, this one would be good. But it need hard work.Good luck to the author.
Do the work.

The current published 2-player run is highly improvable and I've spent some time on it. It turned out to be such a complicated story though that in order to start a serious run of it I'd need someone to co-operate with. Sonikustar showed some interest but didn't feel/had time to do the full run and the previous autor dragonxyk doesn't seem to visit the site anymore so it's open for anyone to join. So if you're interested, PM me or make a post about it. I definitely won't start this until someone joins.

I'm interested, I always wanted an excuse to TAS this game xD Lol, but seriously, I have a lot of free time to work on something so I'd like to have a go at this.

NitroGenesis has lost the interest in the 2-player run so it's once again open to join it for anyone who feels like it. Notice that I, in my previous post about this, mentioned it'd be a tough run to make - meaning, don't join and except a straight forward execution. How tough it'll be is hard to explain without giving out way too detailed information. But basically, in most 2D-platformers there are lots of "trivial" parts when TASing them, like walking in one direction for a long time without any challenging obstacles. In this run there's no such place, and you can never really be sure that you've ever done something as fast as possible. So only join if you like hard challenges. Welcome:)

This interests me. I would like to help to a degree if I can, but I can't commit to it (I don't have much free time lately). Heh, I'm not sure you want me on your team again. I seem to just delay things haha...

Trying to throw the "hiding" sprite upwards will land you in $0583, which indicates the directions sprites are facing. Unfortunately, you can't get any useful instructions in here. Even if you could fill it up with $01, you'd at most be able to reach $0591, which doesn't seem to ever change.
