This is my first tas. I think its pretty good for my first one. In 4-2 i tried to do the wrong warp but didnt make it.

Samsara: Claiming for judging.
Samsara: Welcome to the site! We only accept TAS records here, and this run does not beat our current record, so unfortunately we cannot accept it. For future submissions, please make sure that your run is as fast as you can make it. You have infinite tries, you should not be missing tricks at all, and especially for SMB1 there is an extensive amount of other runs that you can watch to learn how to do these things for yourself. Keep at it, though! I hope to see future submissions from you!

I'm giving this a no vote. Here at TASVideos, we go for the best gameplay, and it must beat all records. This TAS is over 30 seconds slower than other runs.

Yeah, pretty much what Incendration said. If your TAS isn't the best in terms of time in the category you're aiming for, the best option is uploading it to User Files. A no for me.

Hello there aliilho2, welcome to the community! As others have mentioned, the best place to upload your TASes are to the site's userfiles here. If you'd like feedback on your work, you're welcome to ask in the community's discord server. Submissions on the other hand, are for when you've created a highly optimized TAS which you wish to have published on the site. While this TAS isn't at that level of optimization, don't be discouraged! This game in particular has been extremely optimized by many people over a long time period; but it's a nice starting point too. Next you may want to try a different game that piques your interest, or perhaps head over to the game forums and look through the wishlist threads.

Welcome! I guess you are here inspired by some video explaining TAS. This is a TAS, where you don't do a sloppy run and call it done. Remember, you have total control of Mario. Avoid bumping into walls if you can. Check out what tricks saves time. At least nice job executing the flagpole glitch. You can check out many more glitches from Wiki: GameResources/NES/SuperMarioBros. You can also learn from the published movie on the site [1715] NES Super Mario Bros. "warps" by HappyLee in 04:57.31. Also note that TAS and RTA may have common tricks, but different ways to execute.
