Simple question: does BizHawk support using the SNES mouse via the PC mouse?

OK... how? When I run Mario paint and go into SNES controller configuration, i set port 1 to mouse and reboot core. Still the mouse doesn't seem to work.

It's possible the default config doesn't cover the mouse, which case you have to go to the controller config -> analog controls -> bind mouse controls

I did the bind thing. It kind of moves now but it's all over the place. Am I meant to do something in particular after clicking the Bind! button?

EmuHawk doesn't differentiate between light guns and mice (yet). For now you'll have to use Virtual Pads (doesn't support SNES Mouse) or plug in a gamepad.
I contribute to BizHawk as Linux/cross-platform lead, testing and automation lead, and UI designer. This year, I'm experimenting with streaming BizHawk development on Twitch. nope Links to find me elsewhere and to some of my side projects are on my personal site. Hey look buddy, I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like "What is software," because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. For instance, how am I gonna stop some high-wattage thread-ripping monster of a CPU dead in its tracks? The answer: use code. And if that don't work? Use more code.
