People don't ask. They just make assumptions on the spot and start screaming "fake!". "Hey, look at this timeattack." "It's fake!"
That is precisely why I said that I refer to them as 'movies'. You can't say "THATS A FAKE MOVIE" when it is exactly what I said it was: a set of frames that go together fluidly to show off animation and whatnot. If I say 'this is a movie' and someone says 'yes, but it was done with emulator tools and whatnot and therefore deserves less respect', I would say 'no, it is a movie. it is not a speedrun. stop making everything comparative and STOP MAKING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF THE CONSOLE GAMER'. Seriously, this debate wouldn't even be around if it weren't for people with hurt pride. I don't care about those people, and I myself am not about to change to make some random person happier with themselves. They can deal with it, because I'm not about to start trying.

The whole tone of this forum was set from the very first post:

Although they are somewhate related, they are nevertheless clearly different things.
Clearly? Maybe to you, but we are on page eleven. Since arguing over which term is the best involves preference of language and semantics, this debate "clearly" falls into the opinion category. And if you ask me, making a thread about why you think your opinion is factually better than someone else's is "clearly" retarded. Just my opinion.

There's no need to triple post. You should edit your post if you have anything to add to it. That's what the edit button is for.
It was not a triple post. It was three replies to three different posts. Easier to quote by just pressing a button.
