So I Come up with Code Name: Viper again and this time I used the hardest possible difficulty. This is an improvement of 55 Frames over the old movie by J.Y, which he never submitted here at TASvideos, Judges said his run is a bit faster than my Currently Published run. feos recommended me to use the Hard mode 2nd quest and compete with J.Y, so I tried to optimize this game.
I observed that the hard mode 2nd quest is identical to the normal hard mode, no difference in enemy spawns and other.
The Password used in this run does unlock the hard mode and skip the initial cutscence only.
I am going briefly compare this submission to my own previous submission. To compare with J.Y the only data I have is that my run is 55 Frames faster.
Here is the comparison regarding level duration with my previous run :
Level 1 : Unfortunately in this level I got loss of 8 frames, though out of those 8 frames I had to loose 6 frames intentionally to get the desired grenade commander door in optimal door.
Level 2 : Here i got an improvement of 26 Frames , major improvement comes from lag reduction and spawn manipulation and also I got 1 frame of improvement from better platforming.
Level 3 : Here I got an improvement of 6 Frames (from better platforming which is related to spawn manipulation in this game)
Level 4 : 13 frames gained from lag management in the end part of the level.
Level 5 : got only 5 frames in this level, initially I improved it by 17 Frames but getting wrong grenade commander door in this level as well as next level I was forced to delay the A button on starting of previous level which ate up 9 frames in Cutscence and 1 extra frame in lag and a forced chain jump, I wasn't enough lucky here
Level 6 : Got improvement of 2 frames here, I found that the 2nd lift can catched 2 frames earlier if we delay the Right Side scrolling input
Level 7 : got loss of 5 frames because of bad RNG
Level 8 : got 35 frames of improvement from lag reduction avoided the statue attack which forced me to stop for few frames in my previous submission.
I hope you enjoy it.
Comments : I first time played this game in my childhood back in 2010 probably , I still play this game sometimes. In childhood could never pass level 5.
This game has good graphics and decent soundtrack. Enemies are Very agressive in this game especially in hard mode, they always search for the player when nearby. Level design is unique and nice.

arkiandruski: Claiming for judging.
arkiandruski: Looks good. Accepting as an improvement to [4941] NES Code Name: Viper by Pankaj in 10:54.56.

despoa: Processing...

Awesome job!
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
