Overclocked is a very short NES homebrew made for the Byte-Off 2020 Competition by someone named Sam V, known as The1StickMan on YouTube. You play as a computer cursor who has to collect 3 files to escape the black and white world it's in. Under specific conditions, the game can randomly go back to the 1st screen.
The physics behind that aforementioned statement are very complicated, but from my understanding of it, the game does this on 2 conditions:
- If you don't move for ~45 frames
- If you don't stop moving for ~60 frames
The levels themselves are very short and simple. I use pinpoint precision and the use of a 2nd controller to control the file in each level to beat this game in under 3 seconds - one of the shortest movies on TASVideos.
Thanks for reading. As per usual, if you find any improvements, it would be much appreciated.

EDIT: nymx has since improved this TAS by 3 frames - https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638150579039424634

nymx: Claiming for judging.

nymx: I found 3 frames of improvement in this submission. I'm dropping out for another staff member to take up judgement.

nymx: Replacing movie file with a 3 frame improvement.

ViGadeomes: Claiming for judging.
ViGadeomes: Everything seems good, no complete version of the game available at the moment so the Demo version is fine for now.
Accepting as a "2 players" branch on the side of the "1 player" branch.

I have found 3 frames. Because you have an open invitation for co-authorship, I am requesting to be added to your submission. https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638150579039424634 Because of that, I am dropping my judgement for another staff member to take up.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX
