I did shortly after but was too lazy to edit my post. BOTH Choco Island courses were totally unfair.

I feel like he didn’t glitch enough… I don’t really know the game though, I’d like to hear someone expert comment on it

That was great! He should submit it here and obsolete his old run.

I'm confused. I feel like I've watched that before, but maybe it was just similar to the published run, even though it beats it by a minute. However, that video is 3 years old, so maybe I have seen it before, but I wonder why it wasn't submitted by now.

I hope the author would honour us with that submission as that was full of freaking win! I was absolutely blown away and mesmerized the entire time and can say that it honestly would get an instany yes vote from me. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

heres a link where you dont have to register: http://www.nicozon.net/watch/sm6438206 what surprises me is that the other (pseudo-)obsoleted run is not even on the snes movie list on tasvideos....why? also, somebody who speaks japanese should contact this person and get him to publish his run on tasvideos....

[1126] SNES Super Mario Kart by cstrakm in 21:27.02 It's in the hacks/demos section because it starts from SRAM to enable 150cc difficulty.

Here is my improved version. I'm not going to submit this officially right now. Firstly, I might try again before I do. Secondly...my computer cannot handle either of the new SNES emulators SOOO I was forced into using my good ol' snes9x. Better description in YouTube description. Any input? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYJPQJyLthU

Very nicely done. This looks great. Though, shouldn't this belong in the Super Mario Kart topic?

hmm, I am pretty sure I made this topic but it got labeled as Guest and the first post got deleted since I haven't logged in for so long. That is an interesting forum glitch.

Cstrakm's improvement to the published run has been marked private/removed, but luckily someone made a comparison video between the two before it went down. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30iZWoq6c3o Nicovideo: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm6462920

Hey, I'm not sure if I missed it, but I can't seem to find the verification movie for both mario kart TASes. The original submission has this link: http://filexoom.com/files/1094/record_reset_snes9x.zip But it appears dead now. I assume the verification file is there too, but not anymore.

A Time Trial TAS would be essential. Pressing L, R, and Start with a second controller allows you to play one player with the map at the top. But you won't be able to view replays or save ghost data. Using that on Grand Prix starts you in 7th instead of 8th. I would like to see a 2-Player TAS on 150 cc with shrunken characters.
