Ha, ha. Man, that was sick! Loved the gun and laser action on the floor panel. And Alec just starting his spiel when you had already left the train and were halfway to the exit.

And we all know how many games turn out just like their movie counterparts. xD

Nice job putting that to use. How were you able to change the crosshair position so fast? It seemed as if you were able to be aiming at two places at once. I noticed after putting 1 shot on each lock with the ZMG it didn't seem like you used it to break the locks any faster, like doing 3 ZMG and 1 laser, or 5 ZMG

I did it frame by frame.

The locks need 3 lasers each, so since I shot 1 ZMG at them I only had to shoot 2 lasers on them, so it's about one third faster. I also shot one laser on one of the locks before killing the last guard, no one probably noticed, it's a little hard to see.

I know that, I mean, why didn't you try to put 3 or 5 ZMG shots on some of the locks after putting one ZMG on each to save even more laser shots. 3 laser, 2 laser 1 ZMG, 1 laser 3 ZMG, or 5 ZMG. If you do 1 ZMG and 2 laser on all the locks the laser is the limiting factor and you have extra ZMG shots you can use. Or maybe you did, it's hard to tell.

IIRC the laser shoots faster than the ZMG; that could be a reason to go with the 2:1 ratio. Of course, the laser also doesn't need to be reloaded.

yeah, i did do that actually. you can see it better if you watch the video frame by frame.

One year later and... Streets completed! Alright so...Streets was bugging me and Simon for a long time. So far we had managed to tie or beat all the best TAS times on every level but on streets this just seemed impossible. Simons 1:51 was incredible, hard to tie under normal circumstances, and since we are using 2.3 control style, we have a disadvantage by not being able to strafe Val as efficiently(leaning doesn't work while aiming). So we were discussing if we should just settle with 1:52 for this run and live with it, and as it turned out... we just couldn't get 1:51... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1383924615/Henrik%20and%20Simon%20-%20Streets.m64 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YucpaRI7Wco

So glad to see that this is still being worked on. Sick
Do not try to bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth. What Truth? There is nospoon. Then you will see it is not the spoon that changes, it is only yourself

Nice boosting. I was thinking that backstrafe could be used, but that is slower, so it's good you found a better way to use boosts without losing life. I wonder if it would have been one second faster if 1.2 could have been used? 00 Agent total time in TAS is now under 26 minutes, so I'll have to update the page

1.2 definately wouldn't gain a second. Valstrafe was excellent in this vid and even with good leaning you aren't gonna get much further.

Depot Complete! Well same story as streets pretty much. 43 was maxed, therefor we got 42. (this is run is exactly 1 frame below 43 :p) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1417214129/Henrik%20and%20Simon%20-%20Depot%20-%2042.m64 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnQSo70P3Yc This puts the run over a minute(1:04) ahead of Jack's run, in-game time.

Finished Train today but got a desynch outside of the train(prolly the most desynching place in the entire game). So well i guess it'll be up tommorrow. Time was 1:40 which beats Jack's run by 4 seconds.

Train Finished! End time: 1:40.8 Rerecords: 30885+ Pretty awesome run overall. Timewise several seconds faster than expected. Redid second car like a million times to see which strat was fastest. Think i got everything as fast as possible now. Managed to rape Trev with some headshots(planning to do this on every level he is in lol) and massacre the locks ZMG + Laser style. Outside of train there's really not much to do since there are no bullet holes for messages anywhere in end section of level so i simply fool around a bit with ZMG + unarmed and ZMG + DD44. Enjoy! http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1226869414/Henrik%20and%20Simon%20-%20Train.m64 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfSQzldqL2E Edit: Since Jungle will probably be pretty easy, this might be a good time to post suggestions on what i should write on the glass in Controls main room :D Also ideas on other funny stuff i should do during protect is appreciated.

lol, it seemed like you actually killed Trevelyan at the end. The m64 desyncs at the end for me if I run the whole TAS from the beginning (a guard kills you), so you might wanna play it back from the beginning to see if it really syncs.

Good idea, but you never even see the end time though. I suggest TAS or your initials.

I did ;) He is killable in Train funny enough.

Argh, this is why i hate ending long runs like these, you constantly need to watch from beginning which is now 20 mins away. This would be 4th time i redo entire ending. Had problems before synching if i started from a savestate at beginning of Train, but it seemed to work if i started from Depot. I guess that wasn't quite enough either........
